It's the perfect stay for your family and friends to make special memories and start traditions. Our farmhouse property is in a unique and lovely location for family gatherings, small wedding, reunions, retreat or celebration and just a great place to get away to rest and recharge. Tucked away in the rolling hills of Southern Wisconsin sits a little log home ready for your arrival. Hand built by the caretaker and his family; the Braezel Branch Retreat is named after the stream that runs through the valley. Relax with the whole family in this two-bedroom, two-bathroom cabin with a comfortable open floor plan. Wander through the beautiful walking trails and enjoy the view of the valley from the large front porch. There is also local tubing, kayaking, golfing and wineries.

Shower is big and open, with doors opening to a back deck for outdoor showering. Beautiful covered porch overlooking rolling meadows and woods.

Hamilton Goebel House

This house is a historic home that was built in 1833 on land owned by Jamison Hamilton, the founder of Darlington. It is not known if he actually lived in the house,but could be assumed. During your stay you will find bits of history and pictures that have been gathered along the way.It has all the comforts of home. A beautiful four bedroom home that has been completely renovated to reflect the old and new times. This home was on the list to be torn down by the city.

Located in a family friendly neighborhood, just a 10 minute walk to downtown where you will find delicious dining, unique shops and historical sites everywhere you turn. Jarod and I with our kids live in the main house. We love giving our guest privacy but may run into you as we are enjoying the weather as often as we can with our kids running around enjoying their childhood.
