this is one of the best airbnb places we have stayed. everything was clean and plenty of plates, cutlery to be used. plenty of pots and pans if you wanted to cook. will definitely be using this place again in the future

nice quiet location, within walking distance to restaurants. clean and well stocked

Lovely place to use as a base when traveling to Oban and the Western Isles. The room provided everything we could want paired with a recently remodeled bathroom. Very functional and uses the space well. Loved having a mini fridge and ample tea flavors and coffee supplied in the room. I would give 4.5 stars as we did have a bit of trouble unlocking the front door late the first night. This lock jam was unexpected as we had successfully unlocked it twice earlier. Thankfully the host returned our call in short order and we got it sorted. 5 stars for a timely response! I would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at John's place. He communicated thoroughly with us and was very kind and responsive. The house was larger than we expected and very cozy. Everything was clean and well organized. The location of the house is great, the shops are walkable, the area is safe, and the house has a beautiful view of the sea. I would definitely stay again and would recommend to families. We had three adults, my 6 year old son and my infant daughter with us and it was the perfect size.

Margaret's house is just a short stroll from Largs main street is a very comfortable and spotlessly clean place to spend a few days. Margaret met us on arrival and made us feel very welcome, even putting some essentials in the fridge for us to get us started. The whole place is very well appointed with everything you need including a fully equipped kitchen. Out to the rear is a beautiful back garden which was so peaceful considering how close it is to the main street. Its a great location for exploring the local area with bus stops, the rail station and the Great Cumbrae ferry terminal all just a short walk away. Margaret's communication was excellent throughout, we had no issues at all, but felt confident that if we did she would have been on hand to help. I strongly recommend the property and would definitely return if we were in the area again. Thanks again Margaret

Wir waren hier für 5Tage Gäste und haben uns von Anfang an wohl gefühlt. Julie ist eine hervorragende Gastgeberin und war uns immer eine Hilfe, wenn wir Empfehlungen benötigten. Die Einrichtung entsprach der Beschreibung. Die Lage war für uns optimal, die Fahrzeit zu den Distillerien betrug max 30 min. Eine Bushaltestelle wäre auch vor Ort, zu Praktikabilität und Zuverlässigkeit können wir leider nichts sagen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.
