The Goldendale Observatory, Presby Museum, Maryhill Museum and Vineyard, Stonehenge Memorial and St. John the Forerunner Monastery and Bakery are great places to explore and are about 15 minutes away. Nourish your soul by staying in your own private tiny cottage in the woods. It’s nested in beautiful Klickitat County 11 mi. from Goldendale. This is an unusual experience for most people because it’s off grid. We provide a power station for lights and charging electronics. Propane for INDOOR HEATER, cooking stove , and fire pit. We love dogs! Please be sure to add them when booking so I can have water bowl filled upon their arrival. Please never leave dog unattended.

Relax in the luxurious, spacious shower, lounge in the comfortable king-sized bed, or be productive at your own work station. NOTE: this is a basement walk-out apartment underneath our family’s living space. While we have gone to extensive lengths to eliminate sound transfer, you may still hear occasional footsteps above (especially 7-9 am and 5-7 pm).
