Welcome to Smooth Sailing, our two-story guest space in Avon Village! With 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, fast Wi-Fi, a full kitchen, and Pamlico Sound views, it’s a cozy retreat on Hatteras Island. We live just downstairs with our two senior dogs, Rocky and Autumn, but your space on the second and third floors is completely private. No shared areas. Our pups don’t have access to the fenced yard, so it’s all yours. Private entrance, parking, outdoor shower, beach gear, and just 1.2 miles from Avon Pier.

Welcome to my home on Hatteras Island, located in the village of Frisco directly on Pamlico Sound in a residential neighborhood. You have a private entrance and screened-in porch, as well as a shared sundeck. My house is on a ridge & your room is on the 2nd floor, giving you spectacular views of the sound. From the property, you can easily kayak or SUP. Both the beach and the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse are only a short drive away. There are also many shops, galleries, and eateries to explore.

The whole group will be comfortable in this spacious home. The house includes a full, well equipped kitchen, large living space with tons of natural light looking out at the water. Smart tvs, screened-in porch and brand new hot tub installed in 2024. Screened in porch with table for outdoor dining.
