Endless Ionian Breezes at a House on the Island of Ithaca

Lounge on a hillside terrace with sea views as the refreshing sea breeze is flowing all day long. In the evening air carries the scent of jasmine and honeysuckle. A serene atmosphere continues indoors with potted plants, elegant built-in furnishings, and tasteful decor in muted earth tones. Lighting and other details complete the serenity. The house has an airy relaxed ambiance, combining modern architecture with traditional elements. You can enjoy high quality materials, high ceilings, playful light and fine linen. A bluetooth speaker is available to enjoy your favourite music from your computer. Bedrooms have bathrooms en suite. A fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and espresso coffee machine is provided. A built stone BBQ is available for use. For the colder months, there is a pellet stove along with electric blankets that give it a warm feeling. You have access to our own home grown vegetable garden, according to the season of course. I am available at all times for any assistance required. Though the island of Ithaki is small, it has many hidden treasures. It is my pleasure to help you explore them. Any holiday related services, like rentals or bookings can be arranged upon request. Ithaki island is a quite and rather intimate place with lots of treasures to discover. The house is in the village of Ag. Saranta, a traditional settlement in the northern part, overlooking Afales Bay. The beach nearby with amazing water is 5 min drive away. The village of Stavros, with all amenities, and the fishing village of Frikes are both 1.5 kilometers away. Unfortunately, there is no public transport in Ithaki. Hiring a car is highly advisable Access to Ithaki is via Cephalonia, Patra, Astakos and in the summer months from Lefkas as well.

This 120 sq meter semi detached villa (1300 sq foot) has three covered balconies to fully enjoy outdoor living, a wooden deck of 40 sq meter for sunbathing in Mediterranean sun, living/dining area with 50" Cable LCD TV, a fully equipped modern style kitchen, and ceiling fans in living room and all three bedrooms. It includes a washing/drying machine in one of the bathrooms. All furnishings are elegant and modern and there are 3 bathrooms, one of which has a bath tub (whirlpool bath). Three covered balconies to fully enjoy outdoor living, a wooden deck of 40 sq meter for sunbathing in Mediterranean sun, and private garden full of Mediterranean plants. The villa is set in a relaxed neighborhood only 5 minutes away on foot from the pharmacy, green-grocer and small convenience store from where you can easily get your daily needs. Further up, around 15-minute walk there is a larger supermarket which also does deliveries. Also nearby, precisely in St. Thomas Bay area, you will find charming pizzerias, cafes, and restaurants. Should one wish to opt for the local public transport, you will also find a bus stop a few meters away from the property.

Old town is only 10 min away along most beautiful waterfront Promenade. The nearest beach and beach bar are 200 m away. Park forest, Sustipan waterfront park and ACI Yacht harbour are only 300 m away. Private garage for your car is 70 m away from your property. In front of the Villa most of the time there are parking spots free of charge 😊
