Within an easy drive of hundreds of miles of hiking and 40 minutes from Asheville or the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, there is plenty to do. For those who want to do less, you can sit in the sunroom or on the deck and watch the horses graze.

Your stay at Red Cottage will be comfortable, easily accessible, and minutes away from Canton, Waynesville, and Maggie Valley. The circa 1950’s Cottage is fully renovated inside and out. Beautiful front porch and lovely sitting area in the rear of the Cottage. We are climate controlled with a mini split HVAC to keep you toasty warm in spring, fall, and winter and comfortably cool in the summer. Internet access and TVs in the living room and master bedroom. The cabin is a BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ safe space, partly functions as an informal artist residency space for our friends and comrades and guest who stay will find it more as a home environment instead of a hotel.
