Brae Cottage-Charming country retreat & sea views

Brae Cottage overlooks Whitehead, Islandmagee and Belfast Lough on the Causeway Costal Route and is 16 miles from Belfast. It is an ideal location to explore NI and provides guests with a quiet semi-rural location and yet is convenient to Whitehead where you will find local shops and cafes and also a train station with links to Belfast. Local attractions include Blackhead Coastal Walk, Whitehead Railway Museum and the Gobbins Cliff Path Walk which is located approx. 2 miles from the cottage.

Lovely 200 year old fully modernised cottage with fully fitted modern kitchen for guests to use. We provide a food cupboard with tea, coffee and cereal etc. We leave bread and milk , and soft drinks. Charming cottage in historic Gracehill village, dating back to the 1800's, which has been lovingly restored, is full of character, with modern amenities. The comfortable living room has a working open fire, leading to an eat in kitchen which is well equipped and opens onto an enclosed patio. Centrally located between Belfast and The Causeway Coast, this unique property is an ideal base from which to explore the surrounding area.

Take a break and unwind at our peaceful country cottage, with great views of the countryside, relax in the hot tub, maybe enjoy the sunset from the tub! we are Chris and Hannah, the owners of the Gate House and look forward to welcoming you for a relaxing rural break.
