Barcelos : locations de vacances dans des cottages

This house is in the most STUNNING location with AMAZING views. We arrived early hours and Tiago was more than helpful at this time. We were told of the house’s rich religious history which is reflected in the artwork and decor of the house. 7 of us stayed for 8 days 2 couples and 3 teens More than enough space for everyone to have their own privacy and more than enough room for 10 people. The grounds had fig, Apple and lemon trees which we were told we are more than welcome to use. Aldi and Lidl were a 15 minute drive (we rented a car) which was perfect for evening barbecues (huge wood oven outside as well as small grills) The pool was stunning, we spent most days in there from morning till night. It’s a great size and easy to shade with umbrellas if needed. We left our inflatables there for the next person, which someone had also done before we arrived, which was a nice touch. We can’t thank Tiago enough for an amazing 8days. Will defo visit again

This house was spacious and in a beautiful location, about 20 minutes from Ponte de Lima. It was a great place to stay, central to visiting the beach, the national park or the city. There were many things for our children to do at the house with the game tables, pool, hot tub, suana and padel court. The property is full of possibility and very beautiful. Jose and family checked us in and were kind and gracious and helpful with any questions that we had.

On the positive side, the place lived up to its description. Fatima was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience better. There were enough parking spaces for three cars. On the negative side, the hot water reservoir wasn't sufficient for ten people to take showers. As a result, some of us had to take cold showers every day. Additionally, the location is situated on narrow roads, making it challenging to reach by car.

We received a very warm welcome from Bartolo. Interesting, old apartment, part of a much larger farmhouse building. Antique furnishings and high ceilings give this Airbnb a very quaint feel, like going back in time. Plenty of blankets and hot water bottles for the unseasonable chilly nights on our arrival. We loved the ambience, the creative renovations which were being carried out whilst we were there, didn’t hinder our stay in any way. Beautiful views, animals in the grounds, wonderful kind people, made our trip very special. We took the train into glorious old Porto from Mindelo, leaving our hire car nearby. Do walk along the boardwalk in the nature reserve on the coast nearby. Characterful old villages and towns nearby for coffees and meals out. The Romantico drive along the Douro is a must, choose a dry day for the glorious views. We toured the old city and loved both sides of the river. Lots of musicians play there, it was a pleasure to lunch, listen and relax.

Gui has two houses for rent, in a nice, quiet, rural environment close to beautiful Ponte-de-Lima. She is very friendy and extremely helpful.

Die Unterkunft war einfach nur mega. Der Vermieter hatte immer ein offenes Ohr für Fragen und hat auch viele Tips gegeben.

A casa está impecável. Excelente para uns dias de descanso. Espaços agradáveis e funcionais. A anfitriã foi sempre disponível e atenciosa. Recomendamos vivamente a reserva deste espaço.

Sofia et Paulo sont des hôtes très accueillants, nous avons apprécié notre séjour avec ma famille. Nous n’avons pas eu de moustiques car Sofia a aspergé d’anti moustique c’était super étant donné que le logement était à côté d’une rivière et de l’eau stagnante. Attendez-vous quand même à ne pas avoir de produits de première nécessité (sel/poivre/sucre/huile d’olive/vinaigre) papier toilette 2 par salle de bain et nous étions 11 dommage. Vacances réussies néanmoins !! Merci aux hôtes !!

Rui’s place is amazing, it looks even better than the pictures! Really comfortable and includes everything you need. The location makes it easy to drive to the local town in around 15 minutes and lots of routes to other sights within an hour. Rui was really helpful, sharing some good local tips and on hand to ask any questions.

I had an exceptional stay at this Airbnb, largely thanks to our incredible host Ella. She went above and beyond to assist us, not only organizing meeting rooms but also arranging meals and providing restaurant recommendations in the neighborhood. Her responsiveness was outstanding; it felt like she was always on standby, ready to help with whatever we needed. I can't thank her enough for making our visit so smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a hassle-free experience!

excellent séjour dans un cadre parfait ,calme et propre logement et jardin arrangés avec goût piscine superbe Le "personnel " apercus dans la propreté très gentils . par contre je ne sais pas qui est la propriétaire et repartir sans voir personne.dommage car aucune communication

Rui, your host, was brilliant and as effervescent as a freshly poured flute of fine French champagne - so much so that one almost needs to lie down and rest after having a chat. He loves his tree house and is extremely proud of his construction. One of the nights of our stay they had the fiercest storm in nearly 20 years - 100 kph winds, slashing rain and intense lighting and thunder yet in the morning both we and the tree house was still in the tree - can't say much about sleep but what an experience. It is, indeed, a magical experience. If you are coming by rental car, and a stickler for detail, be aware that you must drive over gravel roads for a few kms, which for most rental cars is not covered in the contract but if you drive in a mature and rationale matter who will ever know. Like how many people can say that they actually resided in a tree house. Just do it.

We spent 10 days in Joana’s cottage. It was a lovely and quiet place with a great view and a beautiful big garden. We had everything that we needed. The communication with Joana went very well. If you like hiking it’s easy to get to Peneda-Geres National Park, with great routes and hopefully god weather. We recommend staying in Joana’s cottage.

Appartamento impeccabile. Moderno e con ampio giardino esterno dotato di piscina ben esposta. Abbiamo soggiornato una settimana. Nei dintorni vi sono ottimi ristoranti e Osterie. Letti molto comodi. Se cercate un alloggio in zona credo che questo sia proprio il Top. Abbiamo condiviso alcuni giorni con degli amici e la possibilità di affittare l'appartamento gemello è stato fantastica. L'host è molto cordiale. Consigliatissimo.

Tuvimos una estancia muy agradable en casa de Paul. Fueron muy amables y nos facilitaron tanto la llegada y cómo la salida. La casa está muy bien equipada, la finca está muy cuidada y el entorno es muy acogedor y tranquilo. Una gran experiencia

Wer das freie und unabhängige Reisen an den unterschiedlichsten Orten und in verschiedensten Unterbringungen über airbnb liebt und Portugal ebenfalls, der muss unbedingt in der alten Wassermühle von Julio gewesen sein. Wir haben haben die Gegend zwischen Lissabon und Porto bereist und vier Nächte bei Julio verbracht und es sehr genossen. Die Freundlichkeit von Julio, die Ruhe und die Natur rund um die Mühle, Tagestouren in der Gegend oder nur das Verweilen in dem wunderschön angelegten und sehr gepflegten Garten haben uns begeistert.

Great place for a quick getaway from the city. Everything was very well cleaned and organized. The space was really nice, comfortable and homey. The pool was just perfect to enjoy a summer day. Great location, very close to downtown. Everyone was super nice and helpful.
