Up North Gem on Diamond Lake in Bayfield County

Lakeside cabin on pristine Diamond Lake in the heart of the Chequamegon National Forest area just outside of Cable, Wisconsin. The Birkebeiner cross country ski trail and scores of other mountain biking, hiking, and snowmobiling trails are close by plus other public recreation opportunities (hunting, snowshoeing, bird watching, etc) abound in the nearby National Forest lands. Several other lakes, including Lake Namekagon and Lake Owen, are nearby for your boating and fishing pleasure.

Treat yourself to a deluxe stay in this quiet, newly constructed cabin with picture windows, screened porch and barrel sauna. Enjoy long days and sunsets at Corny Beach, a 10 min walk from the cabin along a nature trail. Visit Bayfield 20 min away or take in the quirky, small-town of Cornucopia and then come home and take a sauna in this peaceful forest! In the summer, we are a bustling outfitter (likely to be busy sometimes!) - join us for a sea kayak tour or just relax at the beach. During the off-season (mid-Sept to mid-May) there are plenty of hiking, atv, and snowmobile trails in the area. We are right across the street from Lake Superior and boast a beautiful sunset.
