We had an amazing stay! It was our second time staying and everything was perfect. It’s a cozy cottage with an at-home feel. Set the pilot light in the gas fireplace for us and let me know in advance, and offered to come pick up chairs after a windstorm the night before our stay. Very lovely host with a very speedy response time and a wonderful property!

We rented Amanda's place for 2 nights in the winter and it surpassed our expectations! Amanda was a great communicator. The older cottage has been extensively renovated, it was clean, comfortable and cozy. We loved the wood stove and the heating system worked well. The kitchen is first-rate, and very well-equipped, it even had decent knives! We cook a lot and we very much enjoyed making meals there. We loved watching the ever-changing weather on the river from the picture window in the living room, and even saw a beautiful sunrise. The star of our stay was the sauna—we have a wood-burning sauna at home and at our cottage—and we were very impressed with its size, the modern design, the huge picture window and the style of stove. It got up to temperature even in -17 degree weather. We hiked and snowshoed in the Alexander Hope Smith Nature Reserve which was a walk from the cottage. The town of Washago was a 11 minute drive, with a great grocery store. Would definitely stay there again!

We spent a beautiful weekend at Marjorie and Rod’s airbnb. 3 days/2 nights. We wished we could stay longer. There propriety’s is just stunning and so peaceful! The perfect place to recharge your batteries. We went canyoning, kayaking, hiking, visiting the area. Marjorie and Rob are the most friendly and welcoming people I have ever met. We are already thinking about coming at their place again. Thank you again Marjorie and Rob for your kindness and for letting us the chance to visit your beautiful place.

Beautiful cottage with short walk to the beach. Michael was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed to have a great time. Tips: 1. bring water shoes, beach close by has rocks. 2. Wanda park is actually 5 mins away, google takes you around which is 25mins. 3. Balm beach is the best beach nearby, but bring your own shade.

We are a family of four with two young kids, and the stay in Azar’s peaceful waters cottage was great. The cottage is beautiful, decorated in very good taste, perfectly equipped and feels very homey. It is very clear that many details have been thought of to make it extremely friendly for guests, particularly for families (for example, there were spare change of sheets in the children’s bedrooms). We stayed there during a snowstorm weekend, so there we didn’t do a lot of travel around the area, but just staying in and hanging around the cottage was beautiful and very enjoyable. The location is very private and quiet. It is a perfect place for families. We would definitely come back to Azar’s cottage to visit the area at other seasons as well.

We had a fantastic stay at the Little Lake Lookout. The hosts thought of everything. There were three adults and three dogs in our group, and every single one of us had a fantastic time. The fenced-in play area gave us peace of mind to let the dogs run together, and the waterfront location was beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the place was perfectly clean. Extra touches like fresh Kleenex boxes, the totally unexpected host gifts, and lots off towels ready at the door to wipe off the pups really made us feel at home. Coffee on the beach, enjoying a sauna and cold plunge, and having a campfire in the fire pit while the dogs played around us made for such a relaxing time. The separate room off the deck was a perfect spot for quiet & privacy when working. I planned to do a few hikes while I was up north, but we were so comfortable and content we didn't even leave the cottage. I guess we'll have to go back. I would definitely recommend!

Ian is a great host very friendly and professional. Amenities are well kept from the swimming pool to the fish cleaning hut, you can buy even premium gas for your boat and enjoy a Saturday evening karaoke. Definitely we will come back again.

Awesome getaway! The cottage is very well appointed with a great layout. Lots of water activities within the resort along with golf and tennis make it a great choice for families. Thanks David for hosting us at your beautiful cottage.

We stayed in one of the cabins, and it was incredible. The first thing you notice is the incredible decor, the lovely welcome. The cabin is really well stocked with all the things you'd need. I highly recommend it. Splurge on the hot tub. It's totally worth it. Really enjoyed our stay.

Brianna’s place was just perfect! We were a family of 7, and found the arrangement of the bedrooms and living space ideal for our size. Lots of activities for children, the lake and balcony were so refreshing. The place was very clean, the rooms were comfortable, and the interior design was on point (the bathrooms came out of a magazine!). Brianna was above all so hospitable and generous. She was nice enough to offer us both an early checkin and later checkout. Easy to contact, and she made the home very accessible. Highly recommend Brianna’s cottage if your a family looking for a wonderful and refreshing retreat 🙏🏼

Absolutely beautiful location for a relaxing getaway. Quiet and serene sandy beach. Kayaks available as described and we thoroughly enjoyed taking in the views from the lake. Great place to take the opportunity to try out the SUP in the shallows of their sandy beach. Bev and Louise were welcoming and readily available to answer any questions. We truly appreciate our hosts for sharing their home to provide such a wonderful experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Zeshan's place! The house was amazing — everything was working perfectly, it was clean, comfortable, and very well-equipped. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, making our nights very restful. The view was absolutely stunning and made our time there even more special. We were also able to go hiking in the area and enjoyed canoeing on the nearby lake. The goat is very friendly and responsive and made us feel very welcome It was a perfect getaway, and we would definitely love to come back!

We stayed at Jessica’s for an ice fishing trip. The accommodations were very clean spacious and scenic. Very convenient access to the lake.

The home was spacious and comfortable. The added amenities were so wonderful and it was fully stocked with towels and shampoo/ conditioner as well as body wash. All the beds were great and each person from our family slept great. The kids loved the play room and shooting hoops. The views were scenic and stunning. Soaking in the hot tub while overlooking the lake and seeing sailboats in the distance was very peaceful. What a great find. The host Marisa was kind, thoughtful and even left us some goodies! We would highly recommend this rental location to anyone.

We had an excellent family winter weekend getaway! We did some ice fishing, snowmobiling and skating/hockey down the road at the local ODR. The cottage was a great spot for our family and we will definitely go back and would love to try it in the summer months. Thanks for sharing your cottage with us!

We had a great time! Lots of water toys for the kids (kayaks, paddle boards etc). Walking distance to playground and town. Fishing was fun and beautiful scenery from our front window. We can’t wait to go back :)
