We had a wonderful time as a family at Hidden Pines. Our 4 boys had a blast exploring the property and hiking up the backyard hill to public land at the top. The cabin was cozy, clean, and entirely charming, with room for the whole family to sleep, play games, and relax. All the furniture, bedding and fixtures feel new, fresh, and modern. This is definitely not a musty old cabin like we’ve accidentally rented elsewhere in Montana before. This place is chic, clean, and awesome. The cabin is nestled back in the trees too so it feels likes you’re in the forest but it’s also right off the road so very easy to access in any weather, including in a minivan in snow. Our boys loved the basement game closet, reading in the nook under the stairs, and watching a family movie. And it’s so close to Ennis that we could easily run to the grocery store and spent an afternoon down by the Madison river and then got pizza in town. We will definitely be back to explore more and enjoy some rest.

I would highly recommend a stay here in Island Park. We stayed for Thanksgiving and the kitchen was spacious, top appliances, double fridge and plenty of kitchen items to whip up a full turkey feast. The house is well laid out for having friends and family. There are 4 bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms and direct access to the back porch which leads to either the hot tub or running creek in the backyard. The bunk room is amazing as well with three queen size beds and the upper bunk beds. The bathroom is unique with two showers which was cool! It’s also not typical to have almost all the streaming services on the TV already signed in and ready to use which was appreciated as the house is very remote. Highly recommend would definitely return for a second stay.

Beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing to be here! Watched an awesome summer storm go by. Enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Slept great and the bed was super comfortable. Kitchen is very well stocked. Made most meals there and even had containers for leftovers. Hosts were wonderfully responsive and provided great recommendations. So many nice touches for comfort like extra blankets, smart TVs with Netflix, etc., and table games. Felt like home. We didn’t want to leave! To note: you may wish to bring ear plugs. You can hear the in-floor heat at night from the master bedroom and whoever sleeps next to the garage door will hear it moving a bit if there’s wind. Not a big deal but ear plugs helped. Also, it’s near W. Yellowstone but 4.5 hours from the Lamar Valley. I didn’t realize how big Yellowstone is so something to be aware of in your planning. Loved it and would absolutely stay again!

Enjoyed the stay well worth it for a weekend snowboarding trip. We saved so much money and time by staying here. The private hot tub was great after a long day on busy slopes. Elkhorn is just down the road but is often busy this time of year.

Our sibling reunion required plenty of space to accommodate being together, while at the same time providing individual privacy for bath and sleeping. This property has plenty of both. The views across the water are beautiful and the marina for launching the fishing boat was less than 10 minutes away. We had a great time.

We had a wonderful stay at the Old Canyon Lodge! We met up with a group of our family members to celebrate Easter and the house (with the added on room) was a perfect fit for 10 adults and 4 littles. The kitchen was stocked really well and there was even an instant pot! All of us having our own bathrooms was such a nice feature and we loved the large enclosed hot tub! We hiked around the back of the property and enjoyed all of the open space (as did our dogs!) Chelcy was very responsive and great to work with and we hope to be back to visit again!

Robert was a great host, very communicative and provided useful information wrt local amenities. The cabin is a what you’d expect from a fishing cabin, comfortable, clean and well furnished with a good WiFi connection. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials. The cabin is located on small bluff overlooking the Madison River and it’s a short walk from the property to the river.

Great view, bumpy road to get in. Good setup and peaceful. Thank you for the stay.

I’m a returning guest, can’t say enough good things about this home and Brian and Travis. Incredible views of the Madison Range. Beautiful sunrise spot. Cozy home away from home. Great hosts. I’ll be returning again next spring.

We had a great stay at the Lost Trail Powder House! An easy drive to Lost Trail ski resort as well as miles and miles of snowmobile trails made this the perfect place for us. A very large and well stocked house, plus the tranquility of being in the woods. Looking forward to a return trip!!

We loved our stay! In a very remote, peaceful and beautiful area of Montana. Lots of very personalized touches and amenities, and lots of cute animals around the farm. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get away for a nice and calming weekend!

This cabin was so fun!! We love how secluded it is and it’s exactly what we needed!! We will for sure be back!

Our stay here was wonderful. The space was clean and cozy! The location was just a short drive to town which was perfect and convenient. The bed was very comfortable. Everything we could have needed to cook our meals was provided. Not a negative, but just to be aware, the grill is a charcoal grill that takes a little bit of time to figure out. Kelcey did provide a YouTube video on how to start the grill. The charcoal, lighter, and fire starters were also provided. The laundry machines were a huge positive as well and very nice for Kelcey to provide a few laundry detergent pods! The wood burner was a perfect addition too, the wood, paper, fire starter, and lighter are provided for this as well. The cozy home with the wood burner made for a perfect chilly week in the mountains!

This location is the mist peaceful location you can find. If you need a break this is the place for you. Hard to find but once there you do not want to leave.

This was our second stay at Matt's cabin, and it was fantastic. We gathered four generations for a guy's weekend and this cabin was the perfect fit. The location is peaceful and allows for some great family time. We enjoyed fishing the the private pond and exploring the bitterroot river, as well as just wandering in the woods, playing games, and barbequing on the huge deck. The Starlink internet was great for movie night as well. All three bedrooms are comfortable and clean. The kitchen is very well appointed and we had no issues cooking all of our meals for four days. Matt is an exceptional owner and host and really helps you feel at home. His communication is the best we've ever had on Airbnb. I highly recommend Matt's cabin, and I know we'll be back!

The hosts of this property are doing things right. First off you’re not going to find a mountain cabin in the Rocky’s on a lake and river with a quiet restaurant across the street like this anywhere. It’s not a huge space only 2 bedrooms and three beds plus a couch in the living room so if you’re needing to sleep 15 people it will be worth it to bring tents for 11 of them because this property has a yard that encircles the cabin and rises over 8000’ above sea level in every direction. I don’t know if you can actually sleep in the yard in a tent but If they let you then it’s well worth it. House was easy to enter and fully stocked with anything you need to feel at home right away. The heat was on for us and instructions were clear and easy. Joe never missed a beat communicating with us and was out in front of any question we could’ve had. The information book they have prepared for their guests itself is enough for a 5 star rating. Great job!! Thank you.

Perfect for a fly fishing trip! Beautiful views right in river

Just stopped in for a needed rest on a long drive home from Arizona to Alberta. Wish we had more time to enjoy the stop but maybe next time😀 It was nice that Susan stopped by to make sure everything went well once we arrived and to answer any questions we might have had. We were warm, comfortable and got some much needed rest, only sorry we didn't get a chance to say goodbye before we left.
