What a gem this lovely home is in Alkmaar - a gorgeous city to spend two weeks in and explore the Netherlands from. Pasqual was responsive, kind and attentive, and the apartment was absolutely lovely - clean, in a great location just outside of the Old Town and literally minutes from the train station. We ate in almost every night and had a fantastic set-up to do so, including the best oven ever and gas stove. Truly a wonderful experience. I can’t say enough positive things about this wondrous space and the people that host it! Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay in Alkmaar and in the apartment! The communication with Diwa was great, she welcomed us, gave us a lot of useful information, we could always contact her and she was super friendly. The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed. It has a beautiful balcony and a great view. We loved, that it’s located in the middle of the city with nice cafés around the corner. For parking there are good options that Diwa told us about. We totally recommend staying in Diwas apartment and would love to come back!

Die Wohnung ist super gemütlich und sehr schön eingerichtet. Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Die Lage ist ideal. Man ist in 5 Minuten Fußweg in der Innenstadt. Trotzdem ist ruhig. Die Kommunikation mit Majsa war top. Zur Begrüßung gab es eine Flasche Wein und Etwas zum Knuspern. Es war rundum schön. Wir wollen auf jeden Fall wieder kommen! Vielen lieben Dank!

Mir hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen. Alles was mit dem Auto aber auch mit dem Fahrrad sehr gut zu erreichen. Gerne wieder 😊

Logement très proche du centre ville dans un quartier bucolique. Possibilité de se garer à 15min du logement au parking Kwakel pour 5 euros par jour. Possibilité de mettre nos vélos dans le couloir du logement. Akke est une personne au petit soin pour ses hôtes, très réactive. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Nous recommandons

The apartment is very bright, clean, and close to the beach. It has all the necessary amenities for a family. For kids, many games and toys are available. Henk is a very responsive and helpful host. We recommend this apartment.

Mein Mann, unser Hund und ich hatten einen super Aufenthalt in der wunderschönen Wohnung in Alkmaar. Es war alles sehr unkompliziert. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und bietet alles, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub benötigt.

This was by far the best place of the whole trip (we stayed in 7 different ones over our trip through different countries). Host was amazing, the place was sublime, the location was great. I wish all other places would be like this one. Thank you!

Wir sind unglaublich dankbar, diese tolle Unterkunft gefunden zu haben! Die Wohnung war mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet - durch die frischen Tulpen und Osterglocken haben wir uns direkt wie Zuhause gefühlt. Der Whirlpool ist natürlich ein absolutes Highlight! Und Remy war der perfekte Gastgeber: er hat uns direkt hilfreiche Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben - welche Orte lohnenswert sind, wo der perfekte Strand zu finden ist, welche Restaurants das beste Essen haben, ... und wo man kostenfrei parken kann, um nach Amsterdam zu fahren. Die Lage ist schön ruhig aber ideal, um den ganzen Tag tolle Ausflüge zu machen. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder und haben die Unterkunft auch schon direkt an Freunde empfohlen. Great place for our two nights. Really close to some tulip fields! As described, you’re above the horses so some noise is what you’d expect. Cool experience

We had a truly wonderful stay on Laura’s boat. It was perfect for two people - quiet and private, yet close to all of the excitement of Amsterdam. It was so fun to live like a local on a boat house for a few days! It is a boat, so spaces are small, and if that bothers you, you need to choose somewhere else. But if you want the experience of living on a boat for a few days, you will love this place. Definitely rent the bicycles from Laura! If you haven’t seen Holland by bike, you haven’t seen Holland. We loved this place. I really hope we have the chance to go back someday.
