Our Cottage is secluded in the country near a river, with no other houses nearby, just Wildlife and peace and quiet. A Front porch for relaxing and a newer deck on the back for cooking out or watching the wildlife. The inside has just been completely updated, with a few original antique touches. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and a half bath, downstairs a master bedroom with bathroom, open concept living room kitchen area. And Main level laundry area. Ready for a long vacation or a quick getaway.

The clear, beautiful lake allows access to Big Gillett Lake and a tributary of the Oconto River by paddle. The Nicolet National Forest offers trails while nearby larger lakes provide beaches and access for motor boats. Swim, paddle, fish, snowshoe, ATV, snowmobile, hike, eat, chill... come enjoy some worry free relaxation or step away for an adventure!

Shalom Retreat

Enjoy a stay in the cottage in the big woods! The lane leading to it winds a half mile back from the road. This place will be a highlight because of everything from the spacious yard surrounded with woods, kitchen fully stocked with dishes, open, cozy living room and cute bedrooms. It is a family friendly place including a Foosball table, board games and toys. Also has a picnic table and backyard fire pit (firewood included) or you can choose to grill your favorites on the covered back porch.

Relax and play at this adorable cottage, on the water or on the trails. The Lake Effect on Lower Post Lake gives all the feels. It takes place before you arrive, the nature, the trees, the “up north” vibe. This beautiful lake home greets you with wonderful pine throughout. You can see the lake from the first steps in the door. It's modern and bright. The property sits higher up from the lake giving you an eye-level view of the peaceful surroundings. Plenty to do or not do, it's your call.

My place is quiet, serene and private, and secluded. Hear the rooster crow or collect your own eggs for your breakfast. Head down to the private pond to try your luck at fishing (no license required) or paddle boarding. If you need to warm up, use the sauna or the outdoor hot tub year round. It is an easy drive to the interstate. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and furry friends (pets). ski Granite Peak. Hike the Ice Age Trail. Salvaged & repurposed building supplies used to create a unique studio apartment above the bakery retail. Guests can enjoy the retail farmhouse table and comfortable seating space by the Main Street picture window. Cooking/baking classes available.

This quiet, 4 bedroom lake house is not only on the water, but a short, five minute drive to Rib Mountain Skiing, a three minute drive to a boat launch, as well as everything Rib Mountain has to offer; shopping, restaurants, night life, and various outdoor activities. It has everything you need to make your holiday warm, comfortable and full of bliss! Cleaning fee credited for all stays 7 days or longer. We can also set up the basement living room area to be a work space.
