The Lake House at Balaton Beach

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place on the shore of Lake Winnipeg. Spectacular location with views from almost every room. 4 bedrooms plus 3 comfy couches. Vaulted ceiling in open living/dining/kitchen areas with access to the large lakefront deck. There's even a view from the rear deck! No neighbours to the north, walk the beach while you enjoy the view of Hecla Island in the distance. Located about 25 minutes north of Gimli with quick access to Riverton for shops and services.

Cozy Cabin in the Woods - An Off-Grid Experience

Escape it all and experience serenity at our adorable little cabin in the woods. Welcome to peace and seclusion. This is a completely off-grid experience, and it not for everyone. There is no wifi, no electricity, no plumbing. There is plenty of space to set up tents for additional people to stay. The cabin can be accessed via a grassy forest trail. It can be accessed by most vehicles. Very low riding vehicles are not reccomended, and the trail should be traveled slowly and carefully.

Spacious 1200 square foot Pet Friendly, Wheelchair accessable Lakeview cabin 1 hour north of Winnipeg on lake winnipeg. Enjoy a Pieceful stay with world class Walleye fishing at your fingertips. Boat launch 2 miles away along with Pier fishing available. The Town of Riverton is a 7 minute drive away where everyones favorite ice fishing spot is located. Sandy bar beach. Easy lake access is walking distance and all terrain vehicle lake access less than a minute drive away.

The Hobbit House (Hot Tub)

This guest suite with a private entrance, is attached to our main house, where your hosting family lives. It's located in a quiet part of town tucked into the trees with a river and walking path across the street. It would be perfect if your travelling here for work or just need a relaxing getaway. This guest suite was once a chicken coop, now turned into a modern mid-century style house that we lovingly have called the Hobbit House because of it's low ceilings.

Luna’s Lake Hideaway-Tiny Cabin/Campground

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis in Balaton Beach. Just a 1.5 hr drive from Winnipeg. Surrounded with a variety of beautiful tall trees, is our cozy little 1 room cabin. Luna’s Lake Hideaway is just a short 5 min walk around the corner to the beautiful shores of Lake Winnipeg. You are a 25 min drive along the lake to the beach town of Gimli. As well, a 10 minute drive to Arnes Farmers Market and 5 mins from Riverton, groceries, gas and take out!

Our tiny home is the place for you to experience what you need - rest, reflection, solitude, time with family and friends, a place to connect and have fun! This quiet place on the farm will give you the sights and smells of country life. Sit around the campfire and savor the night experience. If too many mosquitoes find you, then enjoy the comfort of the screened verandah. We are just half hour from parks that have swimming, hiking trails and more to explore.

North 40 Guesthouse

Come, enjoy country living in our cozy guest suite nestled among oak and aspen trees. The guesthouse is attached to our main house but is completely self-contained with its own entrance. A short walk leads you to our vegetable/flower garden which you are welcome to explore. If you are interested in visiting the animals on our small regenerative farm, Dwight will be delighted to introduce you to them!
