Ideal couples base for exploring the Island

No 1 Shedock Cottage has been completely renovated inside and out, originally a shepherds cottage it is now a very modern living space. The entrance leads into the living room with a kitchen extension to the rear this follows onto a private sitting area outside at the back of the cottage. The bedroom has a double bed with fitted wardrobe. There is a bath and shower in the bathroom next to the bedroom. Heating throughout the cottage is electric with flame effect fire in the living room.

Carradale Kintyre - cosy Victorian cottage

Take the long and winding road to Carradale - this end of terrace Victorian stone built cottage provides a cosy retreat for couples or small family. Airds Wood Cottage is situated in the centre of this peaceful village, just a few minutes walk from the working harbour and a selection of forest walks. Choice of 3 glorious beaches within 6 miles. The golf course is just a minute away and village pub and selection of eateries within walking distance. Dogs are welcome - first 2 dogs free.

The Snoozy Coo - 2 Bedroom, Self-catering.

The Snoozy Coo offers modern accommodation for four people in a barn conversion. The property has private parking, fully equipped kitchen, living area leading out through patio doors to bbq area, two bedrooms, bathroom with shower and bath and large child-friendly garden. Visitors get a tour of our farm where they can meet the animals and can access to our Bellevue Barn - ideal for rainy days. We also provide a welcome pack consisting of our own home reared meat and local produce.

Tangy Lodge is located right by the coast, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind for the whole family. Just a 10 minute drive from Campbeltown and 1 mile away from Westport beach (famous for its fantastic surfing), the area is known for its traditional whisky distilleries, outstanding scenery and the classic song "Mull of Kintyre". The lodge is also ideal for a golfing getaway, with 5 courses nearby and Machrihanish being known for having the best opening hole in the world.

Cosy Scottish cottage on the Isle of Arran.

Welcome to Whin Cottage, a cosy stonebuilt home on the South West coast of Arran. Dating from 1900 when it was a farm house, it looks out over fields to the southern Arran hills. Our cottage is a great place to escape from the many stresses of everyday life, have a digital detox ( no wifi by choice) whilst offering a perfect base from which to discover Arran. Springwell cottage

Springwell cottage has been recently renovated. Centrally heated with living room underfloor heating and a wood burning stove. Can sleep 4 adults and 2 infants or 2 adults and 2 children. We accept a max of 2 well behaved dogs no larger than a Labrador. Separate garden for guests use. Safe little beach and swings just across the road . Start of the Goatfell path 5 min walk away. Corrie hotel bar 5 min walk and dog friendly Also Mara seafood cabin and Deli take away or eat in .

The Boathouse is a truly unique and charming self catering property situated on the shore in the picturesque village of Kildonan on the beautiful Isle of Arran. Boasting breathtaking views The Boathouse is located directly on the beach with uninterrupted views of the islands of Ailsa Craig and Pladda. A stunning property designed and built by owners Max and Judi it offers a romantic and unforgettable holiday experience. * All prices inclusive of AirBnB service fee (circa15%+)

Shepherd's Cottage

Breathe in the cool, clean air of the tranquil, rewilded space around Shepherd's Cottage on the stunning Isle of Arran. Sitting on the edge of the mystical and atmospheric Machrie Moor, this part of the island is a naturalist's paradise with seals, dolphins, otters, and birds of prey to be seen. Wild swim in nearby Machrie Bay (10 minutes drive) or in the pools of the Machrie Water which flows nearby. A bus service (322) passes the end of our road, 15 minutes walk away.

Croc Cottage

Just back after long let. Croc is tucked away at the end of a private drive and surrounded by fields, woods & a burn. Close to stunning beaches, mountains & near Lamlash village (10 minute walk). A perfect place to relax in an idylic setting. Sharing 4 acres of private grounds with Tim's Barn, Croc overlooks the marine reserve of Lamlash Bay. Both properties can be rented together and accommodate 7 comfortably (this could extend to 10 if use 2 sofa beds & 1 z-bed).

Mill Barn Holiday Let, Shiskine, Isle of Arran

Beautifully renovated barn conversion. Spacious, airy yet cosy. Perfect place for friends or family to get together. Five minutes drive to Blackwaterfoot where you'll find local shops, golf course, riding stables, swimming pool and sandy beach. Mill Barn is central to travelling anywhere on the Island. The main ferry port in Brodick is less than 20 minutes drive away. If you are bringing bikes there is a lockable shed in the garden for storage.

Tarsuinn, a charming and traditional cottage

Tarsuinn cottage is in an elevated location with spectacular views over the Shiskine valley surrounded by farmland. There is a small fenced garden to the side of the cottage with a bench in a very sunny spot. To the rear there is a farmyard belonging to the neighbouring farm, which is mostly a sheep farm and not too busy. Just a 5 minutes long walk away you can find the Bellevue farm and enjoy a guided tour and lots of animals, even Alpacas.
