This was our best Airbnb experience so far. Ricky went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

Everyone enjoyed staying here! Came up for a football game! Met the neighbor. Super nice people! Loved seeing the deer in the area! Couldn’t believe we saw 2 large bucks walking around during the day! Wish we had our boat! Beautiful looking across the lake and seeing the fall foliage!

We had a very relaxing weekend in Saltville! The house is peaceful with absolutely breathtaking views. We spent most of our time on the front porch, on the comfy swinging bed/lounge, watching deer, Rowdy Boy, birds and groundhogs. The kitchen was well stocked with a few staples, which was so helpful, given the rural locale. We hiked The Channels, which was, as always, a wonderful hike. We love going into Abingdon to vist The Girl and the Raven for brunch, and shopping at the many cute galleries and shops downtown. And, the Museum of the Middle Appalachians is a fascinating, charming view into the geographic, geologic, and industrial history of the area. Wonderful stay!

We absolutely loved staying in this beautiful home! It was perfect for our large family. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen was very inviting. We felt cozy and at home.

Everything was exactly like described. House served our function well for the weekend. We will go back.

Spacious, spotless, cozy, and accommodating, this home perfectly met our needs. If we could give it and its owners 10 stars, we would. They went out of their way to resolve an issue that we created, and we were blessed to be on the receiving end of their graciousness. This will be our “go-to” place from now on when we visit our son who attends WV Tech.

Now that things have settled down I can give my review. I will start by saying I’ve never used Airbnb before and using it for me was nerve wrecking. But for Christy and David they’ve done this a few times. Immediately when I arrived they checked on me and made sure I had everything I needed. The internet went down and within minutes Christy was able to bring it back up and fix it. All in all this stay was beyond perfect. The place was gorgeous the hosts were amazing. Anytime I’m out this way I will always pick almost, almost heaven

Beautifully maintained historic home. Furniture and decor fit perfectly. Backyard deck was very nice with views of the mountains. Very close to the New River Forge NP. Highly recommend if you are in staying in this area.

I cannot put into words how great this stay was! The place is perfectly situated, super clean and welcoming, and completely stocked with anything you would ever need! I had a fantastic time staying there and would recommend it to everyone! I will be back, guaranteed! Thank you guys so much!

Brooke was quick to respond, easy check in . We booked last minute with no issues. Sam the property manager was great with suggestions for places to visit. This cabin is warm and cozy, perfect for a weekend getaway. Highly recommend staying here.

This was the perfect getaway if you want to be surrounded by nature and have a cozy log cabin stay. The guest house is fully stocked with anything you may need and we were able to cook dinner ever night we were there. If you wanted to grill out they have a charcoal grill and they have a fire pity if you bring your own firewood. They even provide a pass to the state park you can borrow. We brought our little boat and were able to have little area to store it on the property. They are super close to a public boat ramp as well so you don’t have to pay to get your boat out on the lake. The best part was being able to bring our dogs which for us is the number one thing we look for because we have senior dogs that require frequent medications. The location is also close enough to Blacksburg to go and check out some breweries or check out downtown activities. The internet was also fast enough for Microsoft Teams meetings. We had a blast and couldn’t have asked for sweeter hosts.

Fantastic place to stay for a long girls' weekend! House is gorgeous and worth every penny!!! We were there in January, and it was still amazing. Can't imagine what it's like when it's warmer!

Absolutely beautiful cottage! Nice and clean, comfortable bed, nice smelling, and everything worked and was available as described. Hosts were responsive to communications. Highly recommended!

Thank-you Frank for sharing your New River get away house with us. We loved being able to drive back and forth to our nearby home in order to care for our other fur kiddos. I appreciate you being flexible to allowing us to bring Buddy last minute too. We didn't mind the train noise at all. Beautiful view on the front porch of the river, we really enjoyed how peaceful the place is.

Patty’s place is a beautiful, peaceful cabin right on the New River Trail. We booked this cabin because it was on the trail and had a large fenced in yard for our two dogs. The cabin was very clean and had everything you need in the kitchen! Nice dishes and pots and pans. The huge outside porch was perfect for eating lunch and dinner while the dogs played in the yard. It is a peaceful paradise! Patty always answered my questions so quickly!! Thank you Patty for sharing your cabin with us, we hope to be back this summer! Boo & Bella said thank you too! Woof woof!

Location was great! Beautiful river in the back and it’s a great place to stay to get away for a while.

Tonya's home was very nice, clean and had super comfortable beds. The house was a perfect distance to AT trail entrances/exits and allowed us to easily continue our goal of section hiking the Appalchian Trail. Also, a very good place if you have dogs....even though we did not have our dog with us, the place is perfect for anyone with a dog or two. Fenced yard, dog toys/treats, water bowls... really anything you could need for your dog (s). Tonya, thanks for a great stay! We will be back still have about 54 more miles to the Virginia/Tennessee border. Joe and Lucy

We arrived at the cabin and loved the scenery instantly. Unfortunately, a power line was down and the cabin had no power. Within minutes, Omar sent a neighbor over to offer help. The power could not be restored that night, so Omar let us stay at the larger cabin instead AND he refunded our stay. We thought this was so kind and loved the larger cabin too. The surrounding land is so beautiful. We already want to return to experience it during a different season. We’re grateful Omar was so quick to respond and had our best interest in mind. Highly recommend.

Robert is a great host, extremely friendly and responsive to all our questions! It was snowing when we visiting, and the road the cabin is on was plowed making it easily accessible. Temperatures were in the single digits at nice, but the place is well insulated and stayed cozy.

Very great stay. Rick did an excellent job communicating with us before and during our stay. Even giving a heads up on possible weather conditions that could impact the trip to the area. Everything was exactly as listed and easy to find. We would definitely stay again on our next trip to the area.
