The Miner's Cabin

Great getaway cabin with easy access to Charcoal Gulch & other trails of the Boise Nat Forest. Cabin is just 1 mile from The Springs & historic Idaho City. Enjoy hiking, birding, & mtn biking during the day, then spend the night at our classic Miner’s Log Cabin heated by a wood stove (firewood supplied). Loft accessible by ladder only. Minimum stay 2 nights. Wifi access, T-Mobile cell tower. Cabin on 5-acre parcel shared with another log home. Will need 4WD to access cabin in winter. No pets.

Welcome to Röra Haus! Our modern A-frame is nestled in the Valley High community in Garden Valley with new private barrel sauna! Minutes from Crouch, Terrace Lakes Golf Course and hot springs pool, outdoor theatre, eateries, hiking & biking trails and the Payette River. It's a prefect place to unwind, relax and spend time outdoors, now with a TV in the living room! As of mid June 2026: Due to the extra dry winter and high fire risk we are discouraging any fires in the outdoor fire pit.

We are setup for anytime arrival. "Kate Brown" wears a hat and is milked every day. We give a free goat milk sample. Free-range chickens and roosters will follow you. Snuggle down on the love couch for a Roku night and a movie. You can walk around and see wildlife or buy fresh eggs ($4).
