The home stay was very comfortable , clean and well maintained. it's at walkable distance from Serenity beach .The host was very polite ,hospitable and communications were very clear right from the get go. I was travelling with my aunt , we felt very safe and comfortable at this place(the host even shared live locations of the place for us to get back safely ). The host arranged for us to get an auto to travel around for the 2 days we were there . the home cooked breakfast was an additional treat. To sum it up , its was a very good and pleasant experience at this homestay.Would highly recommend it to everyone .

One of the most aesthetically pleasing places you could rent in the beautiful town of Pondicherry. The co-host Mr. Kuharaj was gem to deal with. It’s right in the centre of the town and is walkable to all the attractions. The only drawback was the unavailability of car parking. As the property is located in a bustling commercial Street, parking your car close to the stay is a problem. Overall had a wonderful stay at Casa Mel.

Let me be clear—this place is not for those who want to explore all of Pondy, party and return late at night. No, this is a spot for those looking to stay in a remote location and just chill or relax with a small group of friends or family. Since it's in a secluded area, late-night rides are not recommended. However, it's accessible via Zomato, Swiggy, etc. This place is perfect for a couple with a kid or a pet, or for a small group—ideally up to four people. More than that wouldn’t be comfortable. It's cute, cozy, and has a nice vibe. Room for improvement: The towels and linens provided were dirty and need better upkeep. While the location might seem unsafe at first, it was actually very secure. Also, this is not a luxury stay—it's a small, laid-back, and relaxed experience kind of property.

Visited Tamil’s place with friends. Loved the place especially the swimming pool. House was very well maintained with peaceful surroundings. Had lots of fun here. Definitely recommend if you are a group of 4-6

Four of us stayed for two nights at this property and had an amazing experience. Host was very responsive. The caretaker, Mr. Prakash was very friendly and helpful. He helped us have a smooth checkin even at 11pm. Mr. Prakash filled the pool with lukewarm water which was a great experience. He kept the place very clean. He helped us to choose locations to visit according to our short schedule. He made us spectacular coffee whenever we asked for it. All things considered, staying at this property was a highlight of our trip. It was memorable and definitely would recommend and book this everytime we visit Pondicherry.

We had a wonderful stay. The place was amazing with all the kitchen equipments and ofcourse the private swimming pool. we thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

I recently stayed at this amazing villa in Auroville and had an incredible experience. Waking up to the sight and sound of the ocean was pure bliss. The villa is beautifully designed, with elegant interiors that feel both luxurious and cozy. The outdoor spaces are just as lovely, with lush gardens and comfortable seating areas perfect for relaxing and soaking in the tranquil atmosphere. One of the best parts about this villa is its location. It’s just a short walk to the beach, which was super convenient for us. Plus, it’s close to all the central spots in Auroville, so we had no trouble exploring the area and enjoying all the local attractions. The care taker deserves a special shoutout for being so helpful and attentive. From the moment we arrived, they made sure we had everything we needed and were always available to assist with any questions

The stay was very good, rooms were clean and were totally as per what was described. Thanks to the host that they agreed on early check in and that was very helpful for us. The host was also very friendly and informative and helped us a lot to get contacts for getting vehicles on rent. Overall a very nice stay !!!
