Cute cabin and beautiful view, close to hiking! Extra bonus of doggy treats in the freezer. Super quiet and secluded. Wonderful firepit outside with computable chairs. Beds cozy. Kitchen was stocked with what we needed to cook. Bathroom very clean! We shared the kitchen with a lot of lady bugs but it’s that time of year so we understood. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

off of private Stone Road across from cornfields in your backyard is a cattle pasture. They renovated this old farmhouse to have old and new and it’s absolutely charming and extremely well done. I’ve never stayed at an Airbnb more than once before except the seldom seen farm. It is so peaceful and quaint, yet has everything you need. Love it !

This was the perfect location for a cozy cabin getaway! There wasn't a detail that was overlooked or not considered. Check-in was a breeze and we were immediately greeted with a stunning view of the outdoors from the comfort of the couches and indoor fireplace. We enjoyed some s'mores by the bonfire pit after playing some board games inside, what could be more perfect? Brynne and Matt gave great local recommendations for some restaurants, hiking trails, and antique shops nearby. They were super responsive and helpful guides for our visit. I'll be reminiscing on my time here and hoping I can come back soon!

My husband and I planned a very impromptu trip to the driftless area with the hopes of including our adult son during our stay. Everything went amazingly smooth. Brian goes well above and beyond when it comes to hospitality. We did not lack for anything during our stay and in fact were surprised with many extras. Outdoor opportunities abound and each small town exhibits its own unique personality. Although the House on the Rock was a mind-blowing, portal traveling experience and worth every cent, Brian's house on the ridge was just as mind-blowing. The amenities, along with the beauty and peace provided the perfect setting to visit, reconnect over Scrabble (brought from home), and just hang out! Highly, highly recommend Brian's house on the ridge!

We had a wonderful stay at Eagle View Lodge! Stepping into the cabin felt like being transported back in time. Complementing the old-world style and architecture, it was decorated with antiques and beautiful artwork. However, the modern furniture and amenities gave it a spa-like feel. We were very comfortable throughout our stay. The view from the cabin was stunning! We enjoyed coffee on the deck, cards around the fire, and the hot tub under the stars. Sunsets over the river were beautiful. We explored a couple of nearby towns: Viroqua, Prairie Du Chien, and Lansing. During our drives we saw tons of wildlife: so many deer, turkeys, eagles, and hawks. We recommend Eagle View Lodge and hope to return. Thank you, David!

Peaceful, clean, well-supplied and as a bonus, the animals on property are the cutest! The donkey was so happy seeing us and our two small dogs that he got the zoomies and showed off for us. You have plenty of places to sit comfortably inside and out. A full bathroom with washer and dryer if needed is nice. Lots of books, dvd’s and games are there in case you’d like to use them. We brought our small motorcycles and drove all over the local paved backroads. This was the perfect location for us, too. It’s only about a five-minute drive to the Mississippi River.

Quaint little cabin in the woods. Not much around, but was a dollar store nearby for any needed items. Snacks, coffee maker, and basic items in fridge were a nice touch. Host provided us with a bundle of wood which allowed us to have smores in the fire pit in the yard outside. Inside electric fireplace was nice too.

Our stay at Cody’s Ranch was wonderful! Ed was personable, friendly, and very accommodating. Denise was super easy to work with and was in constant communication. The rental had super amenities, and the surrounding ranch was beautiful. If you like dogs and animals this is the place for you!
