The lake is excellent for Largemouth bass, Blue catfish, Freshwater drum, Channel catfish, Flathead catfish, Black crappie, White crappie and others. Fire pit in back yard along with grill to BBQ!

Enjoy your own private boat launch that will take you into Blue Pond where you can fish, ski or just float with friends. You can also enjoy a separate game room with a carpet ball table and table to play games with the kids and adults. The chalkboard is also a hit with adults and children.

Enjoy this updated lake house in a quiet one street subdivision with community pier! This house sits right next to Cross Lake & offers water access at the end of the street. The surrounding areas are full of public parks & boat launches. After a day on the lake, come relax in the living room or lay down on the super comfy beds! The backyard leads to the boardwalk and double-deck pier, perfect for swimming, fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, or sunset lounging.

The Blue House on Cross Lake

This cottage was built circa 1926 on Cross Lake as the home for Lonnie Erwin who owned a catfish restaurant next to his home. Back in the day it was popular to drive up from Shreveport if they caught enough catfish to serve. The restaurant closed in the mid 1940s and it and the cottage fell into disrepair. We renovated the cottage and restaurant (also on Airbnb as The Red House on Cross Lake) and brought them up to date.
