The Saddlery Cottage
Beautiful converted cottage in the grounds of an historic Victorian country house in rural Wales. Wood-burning stove, Wi-Fi, stunning views of the Black Mountains. Perfect for walkers, cyclists, garden-lovers, or horse-riders of all ages. Just 450 yards on a private drive through the estate from a barn which sleeps 8 (see 'Eco-Barn in the Brecon Beacons'). Ideal also for larger gatherings. Dogs welcome; a maximum of two permitted. The cottage is located on a 19th century country house estate of about 10 acres of gardens, lawns and woods. There are three bedrooms - a double ensuite on the ground floor, and two upstairs bedrooms (two doubles, one can be made up as twin beds) that share a large bathroom. A double-height kitchen and an open plan living/dining area with a banquette, a woodburning stove, two large comfy sofas and fabulous views. One side of the cottage looks onto a cobbled stable yard, and the other onto its own garden, then beyond that parkland, Llangorse Lake and the Black Mountains. Fabulous restaurants and farm shops are within a short drive as well as the lake, with boating facilities, beautiful walks out of your front door, and great biking trails. An all-around perfect location for a peaceful holiday in rural Wales. The cottage has its own entrance and parking, also its own garden with a table and chairs. Guests are welcome to explore the grounds of Treberfydd House, and are free to bring up to two pets. My husband and I and our family live a couple of minutes' walk from the Saddlery, and are available to help with any questions guests may have. Completely rural idyll - Perfect for those who want to escape the city and drink in the joys of the countryside. You would need a car to get around. Wellies are recommended, and good walking gear advisable for the hills. Booking is normally for a minimum of three nights. Between November and and March we offer a special rate for a Friday + Saturday booking with a late checkout of 4.30pm on Sunday. Please contact us for details. Cosy, character cottage. Open-plan ground floor with living, dining, kitchen, and sunny work space. Two sets of folding doors that lead out to a pretty cottage garden. Upstairs, two bedrooms (one with king sized bed, one with double bed) upstairs, bathroom with bath & shower. Convenience of good access, situated on the road leading from the village of Clyro to the famous 'book town' of Hay-on-Wye. Ideal base for exploring the Wye Valley, Brecon Beacons National Park, and the Black Mountains.

Modern architect designed eco house, in a beautiful Village on the Wye Valley Walk. Close to Village shop and pub. House designed to maximise on the sunshine with the South west side mainly glass. Lovely in the summer and winter, fantastic walking country and a log burner in the lounge area for cold winter days. Dogs welcome. The house about 300 yards from The Rectory Fishery. Day permits for Salmon, Trout and Coarse Fishing available via The Wye And Usk Foundation The garden is dog proof.

The Little Twmp Barn
The Little Twmp barn is set in 3 acres of well tendered gardens and farm land, just outside Bronllys. The property, is very conveniently situated, 6 miles from Hay on Wye & 6 miles from Brecon. Its slightly elevated position boasts spectacular view's of the Black Mountain's. The Wye Valley is very famous for it's Mountain's, Valley's and River's. Walking, climbing, mountain biking, canoeing, fishing, pony trekking and for those that love the country side, it's just on our door step.
