Slad - lovely rural views

We have lived in Slad since 1985, it is a beautiful place to visit at any time of the year - our guests can explore the lovely valley and surrounding countryside; we're two miles from Stroud. Cheltenham, Gloucester and the Cotswolds are within easy reach. We have really enjoyed being Airbnb hosts for over 5 years ; we have two rooms available with double beds (but also suitable for single visitors). We have a lovely, lively collie Zelda, so are now getting lots of Slad walks ourselves too!

This cute 200 year old castle folly with a hot tub was restored with help from BBC’s ‘My Unique B&B' to give you a romantic experience in a beautiful rural setting. Medieval themed features include panelled walls, skylight above the bed, and a knight! Facilities include shower, TV, fridge freezer, heating, hob and outside seating. Large hot tub with a beautiful view available for an additional charge. Substantial breakfast pack provided. With a village pub close by what’s not to love?

2 Little Orchard is situation in Stanton, one of the prettiest and unspoilt villages in the Cotwolds. The Mount Inn is a 10 minute walk away and has stunning view and wonderful home cooked food. Broadway is just under 3 miles away with more pubs, cafes and shops. Stratford on Avon is the regions cultural centre with its theatre and Shakespearian heritage, and Cheltenham is approx. 11 miles away with excellent shopping, many wonderful restaurants and of course the famous race course

Complete privacy, separate entrance up a flight of stairs. Kingsize bed with ensuite shower. T.V. . Private parking. Blackout blinds, controlled heating by guests. Simple breakfast tray in room with fresh fruit , yoghurt and cereals Coffe and tea making facilities. NOT suitable babies/children. Check-in window: 3 to 7pm You need to give us an estimated time of arrival as we do not stay home 4 hours every day waiting for guests to arrive. The room is not now serviced during your stay.

The Grade II listed cowshed conversion has high beamy ceilings, light spacious rooms with rustic features from the farm in its heyday.
