Situated 6 km from Glendalough and surrounded by hiking trails it is the home of artist Patrick Walshe and his wife Rosalind. Set back from a quiet country road, 4km from the villages of Laragh and Rathdrum, 1 hr from Dublin, it is ideal for exploring this beautiful part of Ireland. Enjoy relaxing in the garden also. O'Rourkes cottage is situated in the picturesque valley of Glenasmole, nestled in the foothills of the Dublin mountains overlooking Dublin city. The cottage has 2 bedroom, sitting room and kitchen with a woodland garden. Ideally situated to enjoy the the Dublin Wicklow mountains . The cottage includes central heating, wood burning stove, cooker, electric shower. We are now operating a minimum two night stay. Accommodating up to 3 guests. It comprises of a single loft mezzanine bedroom which is accessed by a ladder type stairs. Access to the loft bedroom is through the main bedroom downstairs. The separate kitchen/sitting area overlooks the lakes and wicklow mountains in a tranquil environment.

An Capall (meaning Horse in Irish language) is a beautifully converted Horse Lorry currently out to grass overlooking a meandering river, nestled near Glendalough in the Wicklow Mountains. Our Wooden Bedford Horse Lorry has been lovingly converted to house a King Size bed upper deck plus a single bunk. Guests have private access to our river beach, firepit & BBQ. In addition you can book a private Finnish Sauna & River Plunge experience in our converted horse box (at an extra charge).

This is the perfect place to get away from it all. Luxury accommodation in a secluded setting.
