A side note: we have a family of wild turkeys that visit the property, as well as abundant wildlife. We also free range our 3 chickens and 3 dusks named Larry, Curley and Mo. Our animals are free roaming, as well as working dogs that watch over the ranch, so we require that your furry family member/s be leashed at all times when outdoors. Although the cabins are only 10 miles from town, guests feel as if they are in another world; a world of pure Texas Hill Country! A king size bed and large bathroom. The bedroom/sitting area includes a smart TV; kitchenette complete with a microwave, full size refrigerator, Keurig, electric skillet and toaster oven. Large porch with a private hot tub.

The Riverwood cabin was built by the property owner (Oso), a direct descendant of Dr. Herff, an early settler to Boerne in the 1850's. The rustic, craftsman-built cabin sits on an 85 acre historic ranch and wildlife preserve, located just 2 miles from downtown Boerne Square.
