Mesa Hideout, Off-Grid Adobe in Terlingua Ranch

The adobe is perched high on the edge of Jack Eden Mesa in the Chihuahuan Desert. The rustic adobe overlooks the historic Comanche Trail and is built near an ancient Indian campsite as evidenced by metate's, stacked rocks and a petroglyph. This is a very remote location and will provide you with a unique, wild west experience not available many other places. The one room cabin has 4 twin beds. All water is captured rainwater and must be used conservatively. There is limited cell phone service.

Living Rock Campsite #1

Our campsite is located on the hill behind Terlingua Ghost Town, 1/2 mile from Restaurants and shopping. Campfires are allowed. We have a composting toilet on the campground and an outdoor shower available. The view from your campsite is a 360 degree panoramic view of the Big Bend region complete with a sunrise over the Chisos and a sunset in the Chihuahuan desert of Mexico. The road to the campsite is unpaved. Take it slowly, any car will make it. One tent per site, please. Tent not included.

Once you return to the property for the evening, you will find a cooling/hot tub, wildlife along with peaceful relaxing stars and scenery to enjoy. Car accessible.

Pool available for $5. Keep in mind: Weather may impact road conditions although a 4WD is not required to get to this site. Take it easy on the road once it’s not paved.

The Cozy Caravan ll located in walking distance from the Terlingua Ghost Town sits on 5 acres of private land and is equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The trailer is great for enjoying the quiet mornings, sunsets and the milky way, after a day of exploring the Big Bend. The entrance to Big Bend National Park is a ten minute drive to the West Entrance Station and a 15 minute drive to the Barton Warnock Center in Big Bend Ranch State Park.

Big Bend Bunkhouse #4 - 1 mile from Big Bend NP

This is 1 of 5 bunkhouses we have available. Look for our other Big Bend Bunkhouses, if this one is booked! The camper has 3 AC units and accommodates up to 6 guests. It is located at Study Butte RV Park, just 1 Mile from entrance to Big Bend National Park. It is also across the street from the only grocery store in town - The Cottonwood. This is a beautiful, vibrant location with completely dark skies. You will be amazed by the stars & constellations!
