Stone Castle's Lakefront Cabin, Sauna & Hot tub

#GBJ-0003 Come stay on a beautiful acreage (65 acres) beside our stone house set on a hill overlooking a lake on one side and hills of maple, white pines and limestone cliffs on the other. The cozy 1 bedroom sleep cabin with a hot tub, its own bathroom and kitchenette accommodate our airbnb guests. We have gardens, apple trees, chickens, maple forest we tap, the lake for you to swim and play in with canoes and a sauna, as well as trails to walk in to enjoy nature and the abundant wildlife.

Enjoy watching our summer boating visitors enter our beautiful marina from one of our various outside sitting areas or perhaps check out the beach for fossils. On a km walk to our small community, you will come upon the local brewery, Spit Rail, located on the waterfront. Our area has a golf course, Bridal Veil Falls, Misery Bay Provincial Park and the the sandy beach of Providence Bay are all a short drive away. The westerly setting sun views from the East Bluff can be breathtaking.

This all repurposed bunkie is in a picturesque setting on Manitoulin island. It has a large deck to enjoy the day . 230sq ft living space inside. It offers a queen size bed for our guest to find comfort and rest , along with a futon ; this cabin has a wonderful rustic feel. The cabin is framed with a beautiful wood finish with select antiques as decorations. This humble cabin is off the grid; it has solar lights. The washroom is a compostable outhouse. We have fire wood for purchase.

It is uniquely decorated with antiques, thrift store finds and handicrafts collected from our travels around the world as far as Africa, Japan, Costa Rica and Canada’s Arctic. This is a guest house located on our property where we live but the guest house location provides privacy for our guests. The highlight of this beautiful cabin is that one can experience both magnificent sunrises and sunsets, while over looking the vast amount of the endless fresh water of Ice Lake on your own private dock.
