We came here for Easter weekend and had a wonderful time! The place is absolutely perfect for a family or small group of friends. My daughter loved the gardens and looking at the chickens next door, the kitchen was super well equipped, the house is super cosy for a nice movie by the fire and Julie was a very helpful and friendly host. I would recommend it wholeheartedly. It's also only about 30 minutes' drive to Cardiff and 25 minutes drive to other attractions like St Fagan's Museum, so it's ideal if you're looking to explore the area. There's a great pub across the road too.

Stayed here for a few days biking at Afan Valley and it’s perfect, 10 min drive to trail centre, secure bike storage, bike wash available, beautiful terrace overlooking a perfect valley view. Lots of lovely birds and wildlife to watch from the terrace. Gaynor was lovely, great host - super helpful. Beds comfy, super clean, well equipped. WiFi works better upstairs. We would definitely stay here again 😀

Our stay at Alex’ place was great. The house was super clean and just as described in such a lovely area. The host was super knowledgeable about the place and very friendly to cater to our needs. Great stay.

Our 2 month stay at the Airbnb was everything we could’ve asked for. Alex is a brilliant host and is always attentive when needed! The cinema room is definitely a highlight, where we spent plenty of evenings chilling after a long day. Kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessities for both short and long stays. All rooms are spacious and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The location is great, only a 10-15 minute drive into town and really accessible to get to from the M4. We managed to get to the gower a few times which was absolutely stunning on a sunny day.

The biggest thing about this place – we felt ourselves immersed in history of family and being timeless. Cosy is not a word. Better word I think is hugge. Warm and welcoming atmosphere, like coming to granny to sit in these hugging armchairs and talk with no hassle. So soulful. One thing to mention – it is not 2 bathroom, it is 1.5 bathroom, because shower in the ground floor is asked not to be used.

A lovely stop over for two nights with my four legged friends ... what a lovely place. The balcony was a sun trap and I loved spending the evening watching the sun go down. The house was really comfy and homely with everything you need. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely time here as a group of friends. The set up was perfect with everything we needed inside and some great decor. The host was always responsive and gave some great recommendations. Would definitely come again!

A perfectly located, well-furnished and stylish home from home. We absolutely loved our stay. It was easy to find, with great connectivity to Cardiff, Neath and the Brecon Beacons. Very clean and well stocked...no sooner were we in than I was loading up on the lovely coffee! The house is very spacious and comfortable; we all got the break we needed, able to take a quiet time out for a few days. Thanks so much for helping us have a rest. We'll be booking this place again for another break in the summer.

Sue is Awesome and her place is wonderful. I had a real stressful day ahead of filming and it was the perfect Haven before going to work . Great location / great host / great communication.. just all round 10/10

This is a unique property within easy reach of Cardiff, but far enough out to feel like you are in the depths of the beautiful Welsh countryside. Lesley is a fabulous host who came up to check everything was ok soon after we arrived. She also presented us with Welsh Cakes, milk and biscuits which kicked off our stay perfectly. I would highly recommend staying here if you want peace and quiet in with your Cardiff and surrounding countryside trip. Perfect.

Fantastic apartment in a convenient but quiet location. Cosy and comfortable with lots of added little touches. A great base whether you’re in Swansea for work or a holiday. Responsive hosts who allowed us both an early check in and a late checkout, which was really appreciated. We will 100% be back.

We live in the village but we’re having our house renovated and needed access to a bathroom/shower whilst the water was off. We’d heard great things about Jenny’s place from other people in the village who had used it for friends and family. We weren’t disappointed. It’s a lovely space and Jenny gave clear communication from point of booking. We were so impressed we’ve made another booking for the next round of building upheaval. Highly recommend

Best glamping place on Airbnb we've been to so far! Well placed and thought out pods for maximum privacy. Beautiful surroundings. Everything as described. No issues at all, even with hot tub which had some negative comments but I think it's because people don't know how to follow simple instructions to keep the fire burning. To a contrary to others we actually had to wait for our water to cool down a bit so no complaints there and most definitely A++ recommended place to stay!

Me and my little boy stayed here for 3 nights we had an amazing time. The pod had everything we needed and more. Such a lovely place to relax and get away! Definitely look forward to staying again ☺️

We stayed in Winnie’s Lodge on Easter Sunday, which meant very cute little lambs running about in the fields! 🥰 the cabin was clean and had all the amenities we needed for the kitchen and bbq/firepit. The hot tub was a lovely end to the day and very relaxing.

The cottage was a lovely place to stay. Just a short walk to a beautiful coastline, and in a lovely area of the Welsh countryside. The hosts Paula and Tom were really helpful and friendly as well. We'd definitely come back.

Wow wow wow! We had such a wonderful time at The Roost, and we can’t wait to visit again! Kath has done an amazing job making her place warm (even in FREEZING weather), cosy, and welcoming, there were so many thoughtful little touches that surprised us that it will be difficult to mention them all! We stayed at The Roost for a short Valentine’s break, and I wanted something different to surprise my boyfriend with. Everything was of exceptional quality, including super warm and cosy bedding, sparkling clean shower rooms, a very cool kitchen area with board games provided, environmentally friendly toilet roll and cleaning products, and also a great set-up for bikes, with bike racks inside the cabins and a bike wash area. A personal highlight was the mouthwatering homemade Welsh cakes left for us in our cabin, these were delicious and I could definitely have over-indulged! Kath was incredibly accommodating to us when the weather forecast had predicted a very bad storm, reaching out to check if we needed to postpone our trip, and then allowing us to do this at no extra cost. All in all, we had a superb time and can’t wait to visit again (hopefully when the weather is warmer!)

Lovely location and private, we had BBQ just in front of our Lodge, kitchen and toilets are nice and clean, there was even spare camping gas cookers and BBQs with amenities and a place to sit with roof above your head just in case it was raining. In the morning host came around check out time to check upon us and told us that we don't need to rush with checking out and can stay untill later if we wish which was very nice of him. Very close to attractions many thanks, until next time !

Paula was fantastic, we got picked up at the local station, Paula was very thorough of local amenities and local history which was excellent to know! she made sure everything was comfortable as possible. I thank them both as My partner had an excellent 30th Birthday.
