The Studio at Dark Run Retreat

Quiet studio on a secluded 5 acres only 3 miles from town. Kick back and relax by the pool in the warmer months, or in the hot tub in the cooler months. Small trails lead to the creek running along the property, maybe you'll even catch a glimpse of the deer or turkey that wander thru...we've even seen a lil bear once! There is an apartment above the studio, so we ask that you be mindful of those guests if occupied. *The studio got a make-over! As of 10/6/20, we will no longer be hosting pets*

The authentic log cabin includes a cozy stone fireplace, porch, and patio with Old Rag views. Ponds, wildlife and hiking also available on the sprawling 300-acre property. NOTE: Prices shown are for 2 bedrooms, 1 queen and 1 double, and 2 baths. For access to 3rd bedroom, at an additional fee which includes one double and one single, set number of guests to 5 or 6. Access to laundry. Cozy front porch, tons of parking, screened in porch out back for dining or relaxing.

The kitchen is fully equipped, and you can enjoy al fresco dining using the outdoor Napoleon grill. Relax by the indoor wood fireplace or outdoor fire pit (firewood provided).

Comfy Cottage Near SNP, Hiking, & Wineries

This cottage at Grateful View is conveniently located in beautiful Madison Co. Accessible to Rt 29 and centrally located to local breweries, wineries (across from Prince Michel), and hiking. A few local places to visit include: Bald Top Brewing Company, Early Mountain Vineyard, the Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park (Old Rag Mtn and White Oak Falls). An easy 15-minute drive to Culpeper or 35-minute drive to Charlottesville with historical sites, restaurants, and antique shops not far.

Bison Farm - Cabin "Cielo"

Bison Farm cabin in a very secluded section toward the back side of a 300 acre working bison farm. This is a tiny home Park Model with 400 sq. ft. and a nice spacious covered deck providing an outdoor living room. The kitchen has a 2-burner induction cook-top, a convection oven that is also a microwave and a small refrigerator and freezer two drawer unit that has decent space but is not a full sized appliance. Note: bison rotate pastures daily. Please don't expect them in your cabin view.
