By the Lake is a welcoming, private suite situated in a beautiful, modern waterfront home with a stunning view over the lake and a lovely garden with a hot tub. Five minutes drive from downtown and 15 minutes from Whitewater ski area, provides refreshing hikes and skiing opportunities close by. Close access to shopping and restaurants. John's Walk lakeside path passes right by the house, leading you to attractive Lakeside Park. Our beach provides a peaceful spot to relax on the lake shore.

Secluded lake front cabin

Lakefront cabin at a quiet fishing lake (10HP boat limit) Almost 1000' lake frontage on a 10 acre property. This is a modern cabin/house. Landscaping is difficult in this area, but there is a nice patio and amazing views! You can walk around the lake which is about 5km, or one hour. This is a quiet area. There is a campsite on the other side of the lake, and approximately 20 other cabins around the lake. On summer days you will see people float around the lake on docks and small boats.

Shoal Bay sits on a remote island, completely off grid. Here we generate our own electrical power through a system of solars panels and micro-hydro. Just one of three boutique styled cottages at Shoal Bay, The RAVEN COTTAGE sits on the hillside overlooking the water. There are 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen and a cozy woodstove. Facilities include outhouse, outdoor shower with instant hot water, outdoor kitchen with camp stove, BBQ & cooler, bring ice. Sauna is available for use (bring bathrobe). Cottage is completely private & separate from main house. Breakfast included M-F. Weekend breakfast, vegetarian dinner, & massage are available upon request, before arrival, at extra cost.

Enjoy all the comforts of modern living in the Hatch Hut! A unique A-Frame cabin nestled in the wooded corner of a 160 acre parcel of grassland! Spend the days exploring the surrounding woods, roasting hot dogs in the fire pit area, or heading over to nearby Snipe Lake for some ice fishing (a 10 minute drive away). Propane heat, indoor plumbing, Wifi, Roku TV and a cozy queen sized memory foam mattress ensure that comfort is no issue out here in its private, tranquil location.

Holmwood Farm is a very scenic property with great views and lots of hiking and x country ski trails. It is home to a small flock of sheep, and cows which are grazed regeneratively. . You will have access to fresh vegetables from our garden in the summer months , and free range eggs, pastured meats and locally sourced gifts from our farm store.
