Cozy Cottage on South Shore. 30 min from Halifax!

A very cozy and peaceful place to base any vacation on the South Shore out of. Very close to hiking and ATV trails. No visible neighbors from the yard, lots of wildlife. Large parking areas. Interior is a mixture of new and re purposed materials. Appliances are small but functional, all the comforts of home but smaller. Double bed is incredibly comfortable. There are many walking trails on the property for you to explore nature! Stay put and relax in the hot tub or Herring Cove has hiking, sight seeing, ocean views, and local places to eat.

This adorable completely re-modeled cottage is steps away from the beautiful, sandy, salt water beach known as Coolen's Beach in Shad Bay, Nova Scotia. Twenty minutes from Halifax with hiking, kayaking, golf courses and restaurants all close by and scenic Peggy's Cove a short 20 minute drive away. We have created a charming and super comfortable retreat. We are sure our guests will enjoy the relaxing, peaceful vibe that this hidden little gem offers.

Please read: Our family of three live upstairs with two dogs who bark from time to time. You can expect some normal noise, we provide earplugs and a sound machine for extra comfort. Relax in a private cozy basement basement apartment with separate entrance and parking, just across from Hatchet Lake with tons of nature and trails around. Sleeps four comfortably with two queen beds. Sorry, no pets, our pups upstairs have the furry quota covered!
