Rainbows End in the Beautiful Peak District

Our charming holiday cottage in the Peak District National Park offers you a place to get away from it all. It is set in a hamlet between Buxton and Bakewell. There are walks such as the Monsal Trail, Limestone Way and Pennine Bridalway nearby, with places such as Chatsworth and Haddon Hall a short drive away. The cottage accommodates 4 people (ideally up to 2 adults and 2 children) and is well equipped. It is situated near to our own house. There is a garden and parking next to the cottage.

Delightful 1-bed shepherd's hut with log burner

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape in the heart of the Peak District. This brand new well equipped Shepherds hut is nestled just outside the village of Cressbrook and boasts stunning views and sunsets over the Wye Valley. The location offers a perfect base for exploring the Peak District with a wide choice of walks or cycle routes from the door. Access to the Monsal Trail is just a 10 minutes walk away, and the villages of Litton and Tideswell are also easily accessible by foot.

Idyllic, The Coach House, Ashford-in-the-Water

This two bed cottage is in an idyllic rural location with breath-taking views. Walk through fields onto a footpath down to the picturesque village of Ashford-in-the-Water or uphill to the drama of Monsal Head. *Please note - bathroom refurbishment (completed 1st March 2026) The Coach House will still offer one full family bathroom for guests to share (with sink, loo, shower-over-bath). The new en-suite ‘dressing room’ will contain a sink, toilet and vanity area but no longer a separate shower.

The Tower

The Tower is the perfect romantic high-end getaway for couples who want to get away from it all in a secluded location and fancy just something different. The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. Available for single night stays. Discounts on 3+ nights bookings.

The Milking Parlour, 1 bedroom luxury cottage

A stunning award-winning one bed cottage, perfect for a romantic getaway. Stunning views from the living room stretch right across the Peak District; with no exaggeration, you really can see most of the Peak District from here. This luxury retreat is located on an upland sheep farm and offers character, charm, and convenience. Only a short walk to the village pub, and close to all the main Peak District attractions. Welcome to our idyllic hideaway, Lodley View Cottage surrounded by spectacular views and open countryside in the heart of the Peak District National Park. The 3 bedroom cottage has exposed timer beams, a log burner and many original features, with feeling of being in the middle of the countryside with wide open views but only 10 minutes from Buxton and Bakewell, 5 minutes from the Monsal Trail and a ten minute walk from the local pub in Taddington Village. Ample parking available.

A private, self-contained, en-suite annex, next to the River Wye, in a tranquil setting. Direct access to covered decking area & shared garden so you can enjoy the water, wildlife and countryside. Food prep area with fridge, microwave, sink, kettle & toaster. Plenty of walks from the doorstep, cycle routes and climbing opportunities. Perfectly located to explore the Peak District. Car strongly recommended. The annexe is attached to our family home, but has its own entrance.

Chert Cottage, Great Longstone, Bakewell Peak Dist

Chert Cottage is a delightful and private two bedroomed detached cottage in the centre of Great Longstone. The cottage sits off the road with its own drive, great gardens and private patio, along with ample private parking. Well behaved pets are welcome. All of this in the wonderfully picturesque Peak District village of Great Longstone, just minutes from the Monsal trail and Chatsworth House. Bakewell is also close by, along with lots of walking opportunities.

Newly renovated, this cosy yet modern cottage is located in a quiet village in the heart of the Peak District. Within walking distance of the village pub and within a short drive of beautiful Bakewell it is ideally located for you to enjoy all the Peak District has to offer. Ideally suited to couples or friends we also welcome families and allow two well behaved dogs. Check in days are Monday, Friday and Saturday, discounts on weekdays and for seven day breaks.
