This recently renovated Welsh cottage with original features, modern appliances and cosy woodburner is situated above the village of Garndolbenmaen, near Porthmadog. This is a perfect, secluded, romantic retreat for two situated along a quiet lane with stunning panoramic westerly views over Cardigan Bay and the Llyn peninsula. The cottage is well-placed to explore Snowdon (30 minutes away), the Llyn peninsula (right in front of you) and the quiet coves and beaches of Anglesey (30 minutes away).

The Hide - Glamping Hut - Snowdonia

A cosy and relaxing space with touches of rustic charm. Located in the heart of Snowdonia, surrounded by the mountains. An open plan living space with all the essentials. Cooking area ,with mini fridge & camping stove. Parking Private parking available, the track up to the cabin is steep. There is a parking space available at the bottom of the track (50 meters away from the cabin) or you are welcome to drive up, as there is space to park and turn around at the top of the track.

Derwin-idyllic retreat with garden

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Derwin is an 18th century longhouse with a large farmhouse kitchen and an oil fired aga. It has a spacious lounge with a log burning stove. The cottage has an enclosed garden with patio for outdoor dinning. Centrally situated to enjoy both mountain and coastal scenery on the western perimeter of Snowdonia National Park. A 12 mile long cycle track runs to Caernarfon Castle from the cottages, an ideal walk with or without dogs.

You have total privacy with no passing traffic. Peace & quiet, wildlife and wonderful walks all at your doorstep. Watch stunning sunsets over the bay and sunrises over Snowdon. The name Bryn Goleu means mountain light. One small/medium dog is welcome but please let us know and check the doggy rules with us.
