Recently renovated farmhouse originally built in the 1920's located on 40 acres near our home. Experience the quiet, peaceful countryside. Relax on the back deck to enjoy a beautiful sunset and the stars at night far from the city lights. When in season tomatoes, onions and other produce are available to pick fresh from the garden. Fresh chicken eggs will be in your fridge. Friendly cats and dogs on premises. Five minute drive to Historic Downtown Taylor and 45 minutes to Downtown Austin.

Hayloft at the Lookout Stables

Our one bedroom Hayloft has an amazing panoramic view of the Texas Countryside with balconies on each side of the apartment. Open living and dinning area with a kitchenet wonderful for dinner parties for two or up to 4 additional dinner guest. Beautiful antique bedroom furniture perfect for your special day. You are welcome to bring your photographfer for photo shoots of you in the Horse Stables and grounds. We can arrange for one of our gorgeous horses to be in the photos or go for a ride.

Easy access to nearby restaurants and shops will make your vacation stress-free and relaxing. The pool will be open between March and September.

Check out this peaceful cabin in the woods right on the edge of Rockdale, TX! This 2 bathroom, 1 bedroom house sits in the middle of 30 wooded acres. Enjoy some privacy in style! Only 5 minutes from Rockdale where you can enjoy live local music and local restaurants! There is a queen bed in the main bedroom with a twin bunk bed in the upstairs bedroom. Walking trails available throughout the property to enjoy the tranquility! Perfect for a romantic getaway or quality family time!

Starlight Cabin~Peaceful Countryside w/ Longhorns

The Starlight Cabin is the actual guest house for a working Longhorn cattle ranch. Although not a large acreage by Texas standards (48 acres,) this special location is perfect for those who wish to get out and away from the usual crowds. It is peaceful and isolated. This is a pet friendly property, and we do charge a $50 one time fee for pets (no exceptions). This fee covers 1 or 2 pets, and helps us keep this place available for guests with furry family members.

Inside you'll find a balcony, a shingle roof, a forest, giant hands, a chicken, stained glass, a rowing machine, games and room to dance. Outside, you'll find comfortable seating and a country porch and two bench swings. The house is a perfect jumping off point for Austin, Temple, College Station, Granger lake, and Lake Somerville.
