Our self contained studio accommodation, is located in the garden area of the property and features a lovely view of our garden. It is perfect for guests seeking a comfortable and private base to enjoy and explore the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands, Peak District & Alton Towers. Rock End Retreat is a spacious self contained bungalow with parking for two cars. It has easy access and is set in a peaceful and private setting on a working family dairy farm. The retreat is modern with plush bedrooms and comfy sofas with newly refurbished kitchen and bathroom. The outside area is securely fenced so that pooches can explore safely. We can offer farm tours for those interested in the milking process. Also The Woodland Watch shepherd’s hut can accommodate extra guests here.

There a a range of excellent pubs/restaurants close by and Trentham Gardens is within a few miles.

The Annex

We are situated just outside the picturesque village of Bagnall. We are a 25 minute drive from Alton Towers, 20 minutes from the market town of Leek and 20 minutes from the Potteries. The annex is a self contained building standing next to our home. It has a fully equipped kitchen complete with a washing machine. We have a number of animals sharing our lives, most of whom are very happy to welcome visitors.

Needle Cottage is on the doorstep of the stunning Cannock Chase - an area of outstanding natural beauty. There is so much to do - take a relaxing walk and spot the wildlife; challenge yourself on the exhilarating mountain bike trails - home of the 2022 Common Wealth Games; for those with a head for heights, swing from the trees at Go Ape; take a Segway safari or pay a visit to the Shugborough Estate.
