Eli Reeves Cabin at Hobbyknob farm

This two story log cabin was originally built in 1820 by Eli Reeves, an Indiana furniture maker. In the fall of 2015 it was moved log by log to our farm and was restored to feel like you stepped back in time but with very special touches. If these logs could talk! The first word most guests say is "wow" and we worked hard to earn that. We set out to create something special that would stand out to share with guests. The Farmer's Cabin

The Farmers Cabin sits on our 2.5-acre farm in Fairview. Construction was completed in February 2019. Cozy & comfortable with tons of amenities. Visit our 5 goats, chickens, Ruby the donkey & a sheep named Goat. Fresh eggs when available, 12-minute drive to downtown Asheville We love animals, but we have a strict No Animal Policy! The best well-manured animals act differently around the smells & activities of a farm. Our Donkey is very protective of her herd & we want everyone to be safe
