Discover our newly refurbished spacious cottage tucked away in the heart of Barkby Village- perfect for families or groups of up to 6. The cottage features a spacious modern kitchen area, open-plan lounge and dining area, master bedroom with en-suite, double bedroom and a twin room. The cottage also has a family bathroom and 3 toilets. Everything you need and more!

Fruit Barn - boutique, luxury, secure parking.

Fruit barn is attached to the main house, but has its own entrance. It was newly built to a high spec in 2025. Beds are from Neptune and bed linen from The White Company. 1 x king bed and 2 x single beds. There can be an extra single added. Bedrooms have black out curtains. There isn’t a cooker but there is a microwave, a Dualit toaster, kettle, Nespresso & small fridge. There is a fabulous pub in the village - The Bell, which serves lunch and dinner. The barn is set within a 3 acre garden

The WoolShed at Wood Farm

As Superhosts [there’s a 3-bedroom cottage and 2-bedroom studio up at the farm] guests asked us for something a little more 'off grid' so, BRAND NEW for 2024 is the WoolShed. A hand-made, bespoke luxury shepherd's hut. Enjoy all the advantages of a remote position: you cannot see another dwelling from the WoolShed which lies off a traffic-free lane. You are not overlooked by a soul. Listen out for woodpeckers, owls, pheasants, deer and other wildlife. Watch the goats & red-tailed kites.

Whether you want to stargaze, ramble, or relax, this is the ideal quiet venue with stunning sunsets and views over rolling countryside, horses, sheep and alpacas.

The Garden House has 3 large, en-suite double bedrooms. Private, semi-det., single storey, self-contained, parking for 3 cars behind electric gates +rapid EV charging (£25/car/charge). Spacious and light, set up a short, shared, private driveway in the heart of the village. A south east facing front garden and large, shared, west facing rear garden with far reaching views. A haven for peace and quiet or a good basecamp for outdoor activity. Not suitable for infants, children or animals.

The property is known as the Long Shed, for no better reason than it's nice and long! It sleeps two, but there is plenty of space for you to spread out. The kitchen is equipped with all the mod cons. There is a smart TV in both the living room and bedroom, a BBQ and garden furniture out on the patio, and the views are fantastic. If you fancy getting away from it all and enjoying some peace and quiet, some space and lots of countryside - the Long Shed is perfect.

The townhouse is located on a quiet residential one way street. Oakham has stunning historical architecture, i.e a castle, quaint independent shops, pubs and restaurants are moments from the door. A short walk from the railway station. It is ideal for couples or families. A short drive is Rutland Water and is the largest man made lake in Europe 26 miles circumference and hosts many outdoor pursuits such as walking, cycling and bird watching.

Come and stay in our lovingly converted barn in the middle of the Rutland countryside. Perfect for a quiet get-away with lots of walking and cycling from the doorstep. Set in a 3 acre plot of our family home, you will have access to a private garden at the rear of the property plus our orchard should you wish to bring 1 small - medium sized dog with you. Unfortunately, the property is not suited to large dogs.
