Quiet village getaway 20 mins from Alton Towers

This property was the old parish room which we have sympathetically given a make over. Lots of original features have been untouched. The photos do not do this property justice with its double height ceilings and huge log burner. A real hidden gem tucked away but close to everything. A great stay for those wanting a quiet couple of days or the thrills of Alton towers. In the heart of the peaceful village of Appleby Magna is our converted loft apartment. It has its own small, fenced garden and patio with off-street parking. Well-equipped with Wifi, smart TV, gas hob, electric oven and fridge. There is one bedroom with king-sized bed and an additional sofa bed in the living area. Ground floor lobby and shower room. Quiet village location in the National Forest within a mile of the M42 junction providing easy access to Birmingham and the East Midlands.

Tilly Lodge is set in a beautiful village with a lovely pub, fabulous garden and great food just a 4 minute walk away.

The Loft at Peake’s Retreats, + private hot tub

‘The Loft’ at Peake’s Retreats is a self-contained, self catering accomodation with private hot tub. An annex to the main farmhouse the loft is only accessed by you and not shared with the farmhouse or other guests. A private entrance takes you into the kitchen with a cloakroom area. Upstairs is your large bedroom with super kingsize bed, and smart tv Your bathroom is accessed from the small landing at the top of the stairs. With shower over bath and complimentary Neals Yard toiletries.

The Coach House

The Coach house is a self contained apartment within a village setting,which benefits from a local convenience store. It is situated close to the M42 with good road links to all Midlands towns and cities. Netherseal is within The National Forest which allows access to numerous walks. There are many attractions close eg Calke Abbey, The National Forest, Staunton Harold and National Arboretum We provide a welcome pack with fresh bread, milk, eggs and preserves

Conveniently located for the market town of Ashby-de-la-Zouch, with it’s Castle, country walks on the door step with the added bonus of a local Public House (The Black Lion) selling a selection of real ales, across the lane. This makes this the perfect place to explore the National Forest and everything it has to offer. Charging of electric vehicles by prior arrangement only, at an additional cost. Pets, you must inform us of breed prior to booking.
