Lakeside cabin on pristine Diamond Lake in the heart of the Chequamegon National Forest area just outside of Cable, Wisconsin. The Birkebeiner cross country ski trail and scores of other mountain biking, hiking, and snowmobiling trails are close by plus other public recreation opportunities (hunting, snowshoeing, bird watching, etc) abound in the nearby National Forest lands. Several other lakes, including Lake Namekagon and Lake Owen, are nearby for your boating and fishing pleasure.

Easy walking distance to everything in Cable. It can sleep 5-6, but makes a great space for 2-4. 3 mi from the Birkie start, 2.5 mi from the North End Cabin. ATV & Snowmobile right from the driveway. Full furnace for heat and central air conditioning for those hot summer days!

This is a rustic, minimally maintained yurt so come prepared to relax, unwind and explore the wonders of the north woods.

Rustic Loft vacation home sits only feet from the shores of Lake Namakagon. Set among tall aspen and maple trees, this 3 bedroom + Loft lake home has a spectacular view of the water. The cedar-sided exterior features log and stone accents and a covered, handicap accessible, concrete walkway leading to the front door. The sun soaked, wooden deck has two built-in benches, charcoal grill and picnic table overlooking the lake.

Enjoy a relaxing, family friendly stay on the shores of Lake Owen. Our family owned resort is situated on the southern end of the lake, just four miles from Cable. Lake Owen boasts crystal clear waters and is listed as healthiest of Wisconsin’s 15,000 lakes. The Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest surrounds most of the lake, limiting shoreline development and offering the finest fishing and recreational entertainment.
