This place was so beautiful and just an unreal experience. If you have come across this review then trust me when I say this will be one of the greatest places you will ever stay. Photos don’t do it justice. Beautiful private room with great amenities and views! Great host as well who was super friendly and gave great recommendations!

Ana is queen of communication. We stayed in this apartment for a week, and I would admit she welcomed us perfectly. She gave us great restaurant recommendations, and welcomed with local fruits which I’ve never seen or tasted before was such a thoughtful gesture. The weather was quite rainy and windy during the week we stayed, and this apartment had everything we needed from beach towels, extra pillows,blankets or heater.She invited us to her own pool but we didn’t get the chance to visit since we were spending entire day hiking. The apartment is surrounded with mountains and banana farms, facing through beautiful ocean view. As we’re both light sleepers, this was the perfect spot for a good night sleep. Looking forward to stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay in Mauricio house. The view from the house and the sound of the ocean is amazing. The house is newly renovated so it is very confortable. I would have like to have all the necessary like coffee, shower gel, oil etc.. that you don’t want to buy only for few days. Anyway I recommend the place.

It has been sometime since I stayed in a real home-y and cosy house like Betty's. Our whole group (two families with small children ) was very pleasantly surprised by this beautifully decorated home. There were many essentials as well as some offerings by the host readily available. The location(although not very close to the historic center) is fantastic as it is possible to walk to some famous rock pools and a beach, as well as many restaurants, a mall and a supermarket. Would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.

We had a great experience at Raquel's! The balconies make for a phenomenal view over Funchal, and on clear days you can even see the Pico do Aiero peeking between the hills in the distance. There's a cafe downstairs from the apartment that isn't tourist overrun and allowed for peaceful breakfasts and coffees. Yes, the place is located next to a dog grooming service which means there may be excessive barking on occasion; however, considering that Funchal is a very loud and active city, only hearing dogs on occasion is very peaceful as compared to the heart of downtown 😁. Overall, this apartment was wonderful and we had a great stay!

Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft – direkt am Wasser mit einem einzigartigen Blick auf die Wellen, der jeden Moment besonders macht. So eine Aussicht findet man nur selten! Der Garten ist liebevoll gestaltet und lädt zum Verweilen ein. In der Umgebung gibt es zahlreiche Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge und Aktivitäten – ob Natur, Kultur oder Kulinarik, für jeden ist etwas dabei. Ein rundum gelungener Ort zum Abschalten und Genießen!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Woodlovers property. It was clean, beautiful, private, quiet, and an oasis from home while on vacation for 10 days in Madeira. Our hosts were so communicative. We felt well guided before, during and after. Thank you for all the recos. Wouldn’t reco a better stay while visiting this beautiful island.

We had a wonderful holiday. The flat is very clean, comfortable, quiet and cozy with beautiful views and within easy reach from amenities. Iri is a great host. Very helpful and responds promptly. We would definitely go back.

Great 3 days stay, even if the flat is not super big, it’s very well equipped with everything you need. Cozy and comfortable bedroom with nice and bright bathroom. Annikka was a great host, super friendly and gave us all the information. Also she was able to leave us check-in earlier which was a massive help as we had a super early flight. Overall great experience, definitely recommend!

Petite maisonnette très propre dans un environnement de rêve;vue sur l’immensité de l’océan,grande terrasse plein soleil.Les différentes zones du terrain partagé,etagé,permettent l’intimité et le calme. We stayed at the apartment for five nights and truly felt at home! It’s a wonderful place to stay if you want to explore the beauty of Madeira—everything was top-notch. The only small suggestion for a future stay would be to add a few hooks in the bathrooms, which would be super handy. Thank you!

We had the best stay at the apartment and it was better than we could have asked for! Very spacious and peaceful and has everything you could need. Mariana was lovely showing us around the complex and let us check in a little early as well as provided us with suggestions for restaurant and things to do in Madeira. She was always available if we had questions. The apartment itself was stunning and modern with a large balcony and view over the pool and ocean. Very clean and spacious throughout and faultless. We are already planning our next trip to Madeira and will definitely be staying here again!!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le logement ! (famille de 6 personnes) Celui-ci est bien situé, une belle vue, endroit très paisible et privé. Il est très bien équipé, piscine chauffée (pour 30€/J), barbecue disponible, très spacieux et propre. Ce qui en fait un très bon rapport qualité-prix. On recommande !

Site enchanteur et merveilleux!! La demeure est un oasis de calme et de beauté Les jardins sont fabuleux et la piscine privée a grandement été apprécié La vue sur la mer, les magnifiques couchers de soleil font de cet emplacement un endroit de choix. Heureusement que Bruno a été présent pour notre arrivée car la descente vers la maison est très abrupte et nous avions la frousse. Nous étions une grande famille et par la force des chose, avec une voiture de grande dimension. Si vous pouvez, comme mentionné opter pour une plus petite voiture c’est beaucoup mieux. La communication avec l’hôte est rapide et efficace. Notre famille avec 4 grands enfants ont trouvé l’endroit exceptionnel! L’espace intimité pour chacune des chambres, les confort et les accessoires étaient parfait. Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine dans cette résidence loin de l’agitation de la ville. Madère est une île à découvrir et cette villa est parfaite pour y résider pendant son séjour.

Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Raquel und ihr Vater haben uns anfangs alles sehr gut erklärt und noch viele Tipps zu Orten und Stellplätzen gegeben. Mit dem Auto waren wir super flexibel, es hat uns problemlos alle Straßen hoch und runter gefahren, auch die ganz steilen :D Es war alles vorhanden, was man zum kochen, essen und schlafen braucht. Auch mittlerer Wind und Regen haben den Schlaf nicht gestört. Und was gibt es schöneres, als morgens immer zu einer anderen Aussicht wachzuwerden :D Wir haben die Zeit im Auto und Dachzelt sehr genossen und können es guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen! ☺️

Un superbe sejour dans la maison de Leonor au calme et pourtant si proche de tout!! La vue de la maison est extraordinaire et les repas sur la terrasse tellement agréables !! Accueil parfait, très chaleureux et claudio a été super serviable . Hippie nous manque déjà ! Je recommande vivement

Die Unterkunft bietet einen traumhaften Blick aufs Meer – besser geht’s nicht. Von tollen Sonnenaufgängen bis zum Regenbogen direkt vorm Balkon über dem Meer hatten wir alles dabei. Es war eine wirklich tolle Zeit. Die Kommunikation mit Gastgeber Valery war jederzeit freundlich und unkompliziert. Sehr empfehlenswert! Wer geräuschempfindlich ist, sollte wegen der nah vorbeifliegenden Flugzeuge an Ohrstöpsel denken. Wir konnten damit wunderbar schlafen.

For several months I watched this offer to finally block it. Finally, after 8 months, I managed to rent this house for a week. Well, I’m a visual person and I totally fell in love with the photos. And I’ll tell you something in secret- the photos don’t reflect reality.... it’s much better. A beautiful place, right by the ocean, the ocean sways you to sleep and wakes you up in the morning. The cottage has everything you need for a normal home life. Joana, prepared this place for us like a real Mom - took care of every detail - so that we felt absolutely unique in this special place. Joanna is an extraordinary, wonderful Woman. Full of warmth and empathy. I am very grateful to you Joan for everything you have done for us to make this time so special for us! - thank you! And now dear ones - if you do not see free dates - be patient! It’s worth waiting! It is worth going over 280 stairs to have a piece of paradise for a moment for yourself. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

We had the best time staying at the Crystal house. Fatima was an incredibly friendly host who welcomed us personally and gave us privacy during our stay. She even brought us Madeiran wine and bananas from the garden. The space is big enough for 2 persons, especially with the royal terrace and balcony looking over the valley and the ocean! This was exceptional! The road in front of the house is not extremely busy, but the cars are loud sometimes. The kitchen is not very big, but it has the basics and is good enough for simple dinners. The bathroom is also quite small, but it’s clean and well equipped. The location on the island was ideal for us! You can drive to the highlights quite easily, while still enoying the local atmosphere from Madeira. Muito obrigado Fatima! It was amazing!

Un séjour agréable dans une jolie petite maison. Nous avons été accueilli par Rosa qui nous a expliqué ce qu'il fallait savoir sur le logement et les activités autour de Arco de Calheta. La propriété est au calme sur les hauteurs de la ville, et que dire de la vue!! Ouahhhh.... Un parking privé sur place, des transats, une balançoire, 3 petites terrasses... Non loin,un bar de village où on déguste une super poncha, le propriétaire est sympathique :Bar do Russo. Bref,pas déçus,un bon petit séjour chez José Miguel.

Excellent séjour. Il ne manquait absolument rien, tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin y était (vraiment impressionnant pour un airbnb)! De plus, tout était très très propre!! La vue est à couper le souffle et la maison était très grande! Le seul bémol était les fourmis qui apparemment sont nouvelles à Madère et sont attirées, non pas par la nourriture, mais bien par l’humidité. Aussitôt qu’on laissait quelque chose d’humide traîné (ex: un élastique à cheveux un peu mouillée ou humide), les fourmis s’y rendaient. Nous étions les premiers à signaler le tout donc je crois que ce problème sera pris en charge pour le futur. Au final, nous recommandons sans hésiter et nous avons adoré notre passage dans cette maison. Notre coup de coeur : la vue époustouflante 🤩

A fantastic stay, even better than described with the most amazing uninterupted view over the sea and promenade. The house was really clean, no issues at all. All the appliances worked easily , there was a great selection of outside furniture and cushions, hot water when needed, air conditioning, wifi worked, Tv was great with some English channels for news, a few useful items in the kitchen area like cling film, the bed was comfortable and all in the prettiest village on Madiera we thought. In the village was a choice of places to eat and we enjoyed the terrace at the hotel Jardim do Mar in the central square where the view was nearly as good as from our terrace, but not quite!!!! Thank you for all the instructions that you sent which were very helpful and thank you Kristjan for letting people stay in your beautiful slice of Madiera.
