The Ultimate Waterfront Cabin Experience in Maine

The sunset views are plentiful here at this cabin. This peaceful retreat is situated on Ripley Pond. It is a wonderful property with much to do, eg, swimming, fishing, reading, floating on the pond, or cooking in our newly outfitted kitchen. The property has a dock and there are four kayaks provided for your use. A boat launch is accessible down the street for you to bring your own water toys. There are many ATV trails for you to bring your four-wheeler. Parties and large gatherings not allowed.

You have the whole place to yourself! Enjoy cooking, laundry, games, or late nights. Our home is the place to stay in your travels. On a quiet back street but only a mile from I-95, and the Moosehead ATV trail (and Rt. 7). Within walking distance of the library, a park, a flower shop, a barber, two repair shops, and a gas station. It has two nice bedrooms (upstairs), an office with a hide-a-bed couch (downstairs), and a large room that sleeps 2-3 between a queen bed and a single bed (upstairs)

Cozy traditional cabin on Ripley Pond right in the middle of Maine. If you are looking for a party scene, this is NOT it. Here you can swim, fish (bass!), paddle, relax by the fire pit or in a hammock or curl up with a good book on the deck or in front of the pretty stone gas fireplace. Fully equipped kitchen makes life easy with gas stove, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. There is a washer and dryer in the bathroom. First floor bedroom sleeps 2, and the loft has 2 futons plus a work space.

The house has excellent access to ATV trails and is a half hour from downtown Greenville. 45 minutes away are Big Moose Mountain, Lily Bay State Park, Kokadjo, and Moosehead Lake, home of Mt.Kineo. Abbott Village Bakery, located 5 minutes away, has delicious baked goods & coffee. For groceries, Eli's Market is a 10 minute drive.

Winter, bring snowmobile, XC-ski, or ice-fishing skills; come spring and summer, swim, kayak or paddleboard, from the back yard. The Newport/Dover Rail Trail ("4 season adventure trail") is accessed from the lower yard, great for walking, cycling, snowmobiling, XC Ski, ATV. Come explore "The Heart of Maine", Dexter is only 25 minutes from Route 95, and a gateway to Moosehead, Katahdin, Acadia.

We recently acquired the house we live in which has an efficiency apartment in the back. It is cozy and private. The house is old and unique. It was previously a long term rental. We wanted to provide a restful space in the heart of Maine Highlands, the crossroads of Central Maine. We enjoy the scenic area with beautiful lakes rivers, multiuse trail systems and trail head of the 100 mile wilderness of the Appalachian Trail, Moosehead lake, Maine's largest lake, and State Parks.

Waterside Getaway

Come getaway at our waterfront house located in Hartland Maine. This is a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the peaceful water while relaxing and having fun with your friends and family . A 30 min drive to downtown Waterville where you can find shopping and dining places for the whole family . Enjoy fishing , swimming and more right outside your door . The house also has a boat launch and dock for your boat if you choose to bring one. We hope you enjoy staying at our home.

Rail Trail Retreat

Enjoy direct access to the Newport/Dover-Foxcroft Rail Trail from our backyard. Not a rider, enjoy the relaxing cottage feel of our home or venture less than a mile to our “Heart of Maine” small town. Enjoy shops, great eateries and quick lake access for those boaters at the public boat launch. With two bedrooms equipped with queen beds, we also offer extra space in the living room with a daybed & trundle. This home had a complete overhaul in 2022-2023 and is brand new!

This three story restored 1890 home has been decorated as a love letter to Maine. Weathered woods and nautical accents in the interiors for understated cozy elegance. This home offers an authentic Maine backdrop for every season. Great for couples, families, and small groups. Please note that there are NO bedrooms on the first floor.

Canoodlin is the last point of land before the “big lake” and offers something for everyone with loon calls, fire pit, hammocks, hikes, fishing, canoeing, SUP, swimming and just taking in the beautiful sunset and views of Borestone from the well appointed, private cabin. Two master bedrooms, each with 1 king or 2 twin beds & its own full bathroom. Gas fireplace, kitchen with dishwasher, bbq & washer/dryer. Also included is fast wifi streaming, games and puzzles.
