It’s an easy 11 mile drive to Waynesville, Lake Junaluska, or the Blue Ridge Parkway; 20 miles to Cataloochee Ski Lodge & just west of the amazing Biltmore House in Asheville. Canton was recently featured in “Our State” Magazine for the revived down town area. We love the small town atmosphere, location & believe you will too. The Granary sits between the 100+ year old barn and our family cabin residence.

Why stay in Asheville when you can enjoy the true Southern charm of Western NC right here in my hometown?! Well behaved dogs are welcome for a fee!

Your stay at Red Cottage will be comfortable, easily accessible, and minutes away from Canton, Waynesville, and Maggie Valley. The circa 1950’s Cottage is fully renovated inside and out. Beautiful front porch and lovely sitting area in the rear of the Cottage. We are climate controlled with a mini split HVAC to keep you toasty warm in spring, fall, and winter and comfortably cool in the summer. Internet access and TVs in the living room and master bedroom. Washer and dryer included. Welcome!

Within minutes of the Blue Ridge Parkway, 30 minutes from Asheville, 40 minutes to Brevard, the land of waterfalls. Off street parking with plenty of room should you need space for a trailer.
