The first traces told about this old mill dating from the late 1500 and early 1600. Owned by the family Giaccai since 1920, the last handler was Scannerini Marino said "Rossino." The mill, located in the heart of Switzerland Pesciatina, is the only property to have intact the original tunnel made with the original Vellano’s stone, that connects the mill to the left side of the river Pescia. La capannina è un ex laboratorio di restauro di mobili antichi completamente ristrutturata a Ottobre 2024, per l'arredamento sono stati recuperati alcuni oggetti realizzati o utilizzati dallo stesso artigiano. Si sviluppa su due livelli, a piano terra open space con angolo cottura e due letti singoli, al primo piano camera matrimoniale con grande bagno. Posto ideale per visitare Lucca e la sue colline, il centro storico è distante 3,5 Km dall'abitazione, biciclette a disposizione degli ospiti.
