This is a true {mid-century modern} historic and classic cottage. It was built in 1956 by Frank Stick. Frank was a local artist and developer and started the “flat-top” movement in Southern Shores. We have worked hard to modernize this classic and bring it back to life with some fun twists! The porch is our favorite feature. It is 1200 sq feet of screened in, relaxing bliss. Outside family dinners and corn hole tournaments are our family’s way of relaxing at this sweet cottage!

It is located near KMart and Food Lion. There are many restaurants, stores, Putt Putts, Jet Ski and Parasailing Rentals, and Jockey's Ridge Sand Dunes are close by for kite flying and Hang Gliding Lessons.

Built by my Dad in 1956, this vacation beach cottage has remained in our family, and over the years has been a source of many summertime memories. Lovingly remodeled, while still maintaining the beach cottage charm that my Dad originally created. Our hope is to share the history and charm of this special place with others.
