Mahoney Manor

My father executed his vision and built Mahoney Manor from the ground up. What started as a "camp" eventually became his full-time home before his untimely death in 2018. Nestled in the woods at the base of Ira Mountain just minutes from Sugarloaf and along the Carrabassett River, Emmett created a sanctuary. He spent the last years of his life "developing" two empty lots into a Zen-like nature trail system with hand made bridges and benches perfect for 4-season walking or snowshoeing.

Sugarloaf Mountain, Slim Melvin House

Classic ski camp originally built in 1960 by Sugarloaf founding father, Walter”Slim” Melvin, and updated in 1998. All pine interior. Carpeted second floor bed rooms. Just 3 miles south of the Sugarloaf Mountain access rd. The camp is a very quiet retreat for family and friends. Dog friendly. Snow shoe out the back door and connect with the trails of the Outdoor center. Tune your skis on the basement work bench. Valley shuttle is available on call.

Hillside Hideaway - Great Location & Hot Tub

Welcome to our cozy Sugarloaf/Carrabassett Valley home! Sitting in the back of Redington is our private home with a hot tub, firepit & grill! There is ample parking for you & your friends. Hiking/snowshoeing trail is 100 yards into the woods out of the back of the house. Check us out on the gram @hillsidehideaway_2039. About 10 minutes from the base of Sugarloaf mountain. Come & play in the beautiful mountains of western Maine! Cozy, rustic cabin for two. Enjoy miles of multi use trails right off the front steps! If you decide to venture away from the cabin, Rangeley's Saddleback Mt & Sugarloaf USA are both 35 miles away & the college town of Farmington is just 15 minutes south. Our cell service is terrific, but there's no tv or wifi...come to the woods & unplug!
