William's oceanfront apartment just south of Hillsborough was a perfect spot to relax and walkable into town. The ocean views were fabulous and being able to walk to a nearly empty beach every day was paradise. William was available with questions and he even tried to get me a rental car when another option fell through.

Bogles Round House is a lovely property in a beautiful location by the sea. Rooms are large, with a roomy covered outside space, really peaceful area and comfortable bed. Roxanne is a lovely person but has a lot on with running Bogles, two restaurants and helping people with the rebuilding after the hurricane. This does mean though that guests must accept that they need to be independent and not expect 5 star service. Breakfast is great but not always available, and the restaurant was not open during our stay. It would have been really helpful to know this on the listing which would make guest arrival much easier. Most shops and restaurants haven’t yet re-opened, so using a hire car or the local buses is the only way to get around. Having said that, everyone on the island we met were friendly, helpful and positive so we were so pleased we stayed for 5 days. And there are a few really good restaurants-The Slipway in Argyl is great, as was Paradise Beach Bar. Come and visit!

If you’re looking for a true island escape, look no further! Beverly and Gary’s stunning two-bedroom apartment at Rosa’s Guesthouse in Carriacou, Grenada is an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality—not just from our wonderful hosts but also from their pretty inquisitive pup, Coco. The apartment itself is beautifully furnished, with every detail carefully thought out to create a comfortable and stylish retreat. The open layout, cozy decor, and well-equipped kitchen made us feel right at home. But the best part? You’re literally just steps away from the most beach, where the sound of the waves and the ocean breeze make every moment magical. Beverly and Gary are incredibly knowledgeable about the island and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. They provided fantastic recommendations for local dining. Lambi Queen is located close to all amenities in Tyrrel Bay and public bus transport. Sherwin and Sophie are great hosts, they picked us up at the ferry terminal and also gave us a ride to the main town to run errands on our first day. We stayed in the 2nd floor apartment, the AC is a must as it gets hot during the day. The small terrace is great for morning coffee and breakfast. Recommended !

Wilma ist eine liebenswerte Gastgeberin. Sie hat uns jeden Abend gafragt, ob es uns an etwas fehle. Im Badezimmer fanden neue Zahnbürsten, Zahnpasta, Shampo, Conditioner, Bodywash. Bodylotion und Seifen. Wir hatten eine Waschmaschine und bekamen sogar Waschpulver. Für uns ist sie ein super, super, super Host. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Beverley and Gary are exceptionally helpful and friendly hosts who live on site. They have good local knowledge and helped us organising a wonderful boattrip and phantastic meal and Anse La Roche (Tim's place). The room was described and on the photos. Everything bright an clean with balcony which we used a lot. Double bed was in a corner due to size of room and therefore only accessible from one side. Kitchen was well equipped and we made good use of it. Bathroom spacious with walk in shower. Safe and central in Hillsborough. Bus terminal and marked just around the corner. Carriacaou has been devastated by the hurricane in July 2024 and its inhabitants are working hard repairing and building houses and the economy. Wonderful beaches which are easy to get to by public bus. Boat trips around the islands to take you out for snorkeling and turtle watching. BBQ and drink applied on board (Lambie tours). Very friendly local people.

We did not meet Alana as she was working but we met both of her parents and talked daily as they live next to the airbnb. Her mom made us a lovely homemade lunch while we visited, she assisted us in getting free passes for the Jayden Son fast ferry from Mayreau to Bequia. Very helpful. (Only free on Wednesday). She gave us recommendations to local Breton Whistle Bay where most restaurants are located.

Our group of three (couple and senior parent) was very happy at Gum Tree house. Maggie was exceptionally hospitable, we felt relaxed from the moment we arrived at the property. Beds are comfortable, AC works well, pool is gorgeous, washer and dryer a welcome help, kitchen well equipped, lovely gardens to explore, sufficiently private bedrooms, views from every spot. The house was well suited to our daily routine of slow mornings, a midday adventure, back in time for a late afternoon swim and prepping dinner while watching the sunset. TV is set up but we chose to not connect to the outside world and were happier for it. Beaches and provisions are a short drive away, the walking path to Anse la Roche was not accessible during our stay. Do rent a 4x4, the property is securely tucked, alone, high into the hillside with access via uneven terrain. If you enjoy an unspoilt island but appreciate coming home to the finer comforts of a modern building, Gum Tree House is a perfect destination.

Loved staying at this location and the host was superb! I was most appreciative of the communication and instructions prior and during our stay. The views are breathtaking and location is central to shops, restaurants and marinas. I would definitely recommend staying here. Thanks David and Ayeesha!

Another Fantastic Stay! This was our second time staying at Aliz Paradise, and We couldn’t be happier! Just like our first visit, everything was perfect. The space is incredibly comfortable and well-maintained, and the location is ideal for exploring the area. We are visiting after Carriacou was hit by hurricane Beryl (July 2024) and it’s great to see so many things are back up and running. Carriacou is definitely ready to welcome visitors. Our host was amazing—always so welcoming and attentive to any needs we had. We truly felt at home. We appreciated the little touches that made our stay even more enjoyable, from the thoughtful amenities to the helpful local recommendations. We had another fantastic experience, and we can’t wait to return again! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and inviting getaway. Thank you for another lovely stay!

I can’t imagin a better place to stay at in Union: amazing beautiful views, exquisite and cozy decoration, clean, perfectly located, and with the best host! Corina helped us with everything we needed and gave us great reccomendations, she even had a lovely gift for us at the end of our stay. We’d love to be back! 🌴😊🌊

Denise is such a lovely lady, everything was as expected. She collected me from the airport and her place was exactly like the pictures. What a lovely view from the balcony. It’s close to a couple of nice restaurants and the walk along the road to the harbour and shops isn’t too far. It’s a great spot for Tyrell bay and i had such a great time at carnival. If you want a nice quiet spot for a few days in paradise, stay here.

Our stay at Villa La Pagerie in Carriacou was nothing short of spectacular. This stunning villa is perfectly situated right above the water, offering breathtaking views and direct access to a nearly private beautiful beach {other than occasional local fishermen!} The setting is pure tranquility—waking up to the sound of gentle waves and enjoying sunset cocktails with a plunge pool and an uninterrupted ocean view felt like a dream. The villa itself is spacious, impeccably maintained, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. Every detail has been carefully considered and the staff is incredible. EllieMae chef is THE BEST WE HAVE EVER MET. Abia w/ Comfort Touch Massage is also INCREDIBLE and comes to the house. The hosts were welcoming, responsive, and ensured we had everything we needed for a seamless and unforgettable stay. 5 out of 5 recommend! If you’re looking for a slice of paradise in Carriacou, Villa La Pagerie is an absolute gem. We can’t wait to return!

Ann and her husband is my best hosts so far, we were treated like family. Being there felt like a home away from home. The environment was clean, with a view that made you want to just relax and never leave. We could smell the fresh air and there was a constant breeze. Inside the apartment was extremely clean and had all the comforts we needed. Thank you Ann and Mr.Fitzroy for taking care of us, even dropping us to town to get our bus. We will definitely stay with you guys again. We miss Bo and Pia.🙏🙏♥️♥️
