A magical stroll through the woods leads to the suspension bridge. You won't believe you're only minutes from town. Wear appropriate shoes as it is a short 2-minute hike to the tree house. At times, it can get a little slick.

Designed as a nod to my heritage, Skoghus ('forest house' in Norwegian) was crafted for relaxation, and reconnecting with nature. The treehouse sits in the centre of a Scottish Highland cattle farm, with pasture and forest in all directions. From the yard, you'll be able to observe and engage with the farm's cattle when they come by. Inside, you can disconnect and unwind, with luxury amenities. The dwelling is completely unique and provides a very special feeling while living in the trees.

Once tucked back into the woods, this newly improved 1920s cabin now enjoys a front-row seat to the grandeur of the Hood Canal thanks to a tidal creek that has washed away the sandy soil that once supported the departed trees. Near the cabin is a trail head to a private hiking trail that takes the adventurer down into the canyon where the scenery is otherworldly.
