Nestled in a cove on Lookout Shoals Lake, Mallard Cottage is a small bungalow raised on piers to elevate it above ground level. This provides a special view of the lake that is as beautiful in the morning as the evening. Our yard is fenced with gates as we are pet and kid friendly. The exterior was updated in the past two years and the interior has just completed a full remodel....it is very fresh, open, and welcoming. The lake side has two large glass doors that give a full view from anywhere

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Secluded home yet close to town. Nestled in a quiet cove right off the main channel on Lake Hickory. It has a heated indoor pool so even in the winter time you can enjoy the water with view of the lake. There is a dock as well. So if you happen to want to enjoy the lake, you can. The house has its own boat ramp so if you want to bring your own boat you can. If not there are places to rent them from. Hope you come and enjoy our piece of paradise.

There are two porches for gorgeous lake views. Stereo surround inside and outside the house. House 1100 sf.

My home is close to 321 by 3 mins and 5 mins to I 40, 3 minutes to downtown Hickory. I am 5 minutes from Lenoir Rhyne College. 45 mins to the mountains (Boone) and 1 hour to Ashville via 321 and 1 hours to Charlotte. Great for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. My contemporay cottage is very quite and comfortable. Just renovated and the room has new furniture and super soft bedding. Call head for any special needs. It is important to me your stay is wonderful!
