Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. Located across the street from a popular bakery and bistro and walking distance to downtown, you will be close to everything while able to enjoy a historic building that stands out from others in the area with its unique architecture and history. There are two good sized bedrooms, a well stocked kitchen, and pleasant living and working spaces. In addition you will have access to a shared space and backyard that includes various recreation options including a fire pit, hot tub, and sauna.

Black Water Junction Cabin

Our cabin is built out of old wood and doors found on the farm. Because I am such a cold natured person, I installed heated floors and a heated towel bar in addition to the mini-split and electric fireplace! The cabin is surrounded by pastures that are the home to our cows, horses, goats, pot belly pig, and chickens. The highlight of a stay at BWJ Cabin would be to sit on the front porch in a rocking chair, day bed swing or hot tub looking out over the landscape and do nothing.

Otterview Mountain House

Otterview has one of the most incredible views in the state, a huge deck, and a pond. The house is open format with 3 bedrooms, a top-of-the-line kitchen, cozy living room, and an extraordinary great room. Look out at the Peaks of Otter, enjoy incredible sunrises and sunsets. You are welcome to grill out on the Blackstone, enjoy the fire pit, and relax on the dock. There are two miles of trails on the 37-acre property with their own trail signs and map.
