From the Hart Farm: Pisgah Room (Room #1 of 2)

My farm is 8 miles from Brevard and a 45 min. drive to downtown Asheville. I am nestled between Pisgah National Forest and Dupont State Forest, which means unlimited hiking, waterfalls, swimming, kayaking and fishing. Cyclers will enjoy being on one of the many routes, while mountain bikers can enjoy forest trails and challenge themselves to the Oskar Blues Reeb Ranch. Equestrian folks can avail themselves to our local horse boarders and ride in both forests. There is something for everyone!

Allewelt Creekside Cabin 5 acres of Forest & creek

We offer 5 beautiful, private and quiet acres of forest in Cedar Mountain. The cabin is just 1.5 miles from the entrance of Dupont Forest. Bike or hike the trails and come back to put your feet in the creek at one of the most relaxing places you'll find. Lots of space for your dog or kids run and explore. BIG yard with a creek, bonfire pit and rope swigs overlooked by the large porch of the cabin above is perfect after a day on the trail. The 1/4 mile of creek has a trail to explore as well.

Nestled in Hart Valley(River Falls/Jones Gap) along the fresh cold waters of Oil Camp Creek. This fully furnished cabin is a great get-a-way. Hiking trails, mountain biking, and water falls with over 30,000 acres of Pristine Forest. Relax on the deck porch or dip in the cool water. Time to get back to nature. Outdoor fire pit (wood provided) and charcoal grill (bring charcoal/lighter). Fall and Winter are beautiful times of the year to visit. Sit around the bonfire roasting marshmallows !

This cabin is 1 of 2 on our property. This is the closest rental property to Dupont State Park at only a quarter of a mile from the entrance. Offering its own private Hot-Tub, sauna, and fire pit along a creak, this property is one of a kind! Our cabin is located 15 minutes from downtown Brevard and 20 minutes from downtown Hendersonville which both offer lots of local shops and dinning. Our cabin offers a peaceful retreat and is the perfect place for anyone that loves the outdoors!!

The apartment has a full kitchen, large shower and a fire pit on the deck for your enjoyment This area is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, music lovers, hikers and cyclists. If you are planning to visit our state and national parks, please check to see which trails are open. Downtown Brevard is a quaint mountain town with unique shops, a variety of restaurants and art galleries and is just 15 from the apartment.

Treetop Cabin

The cabin is centrally located among world class hiking, biking, and breweries. There are virtually no mosquitoes, and our microclimate makes this area significantly cooler than Asheville. There’s a ton of cool stuff to check out, and a clean, contemporary space to come home to. The cabin was a former artists’ retreat, it has an open floor plan, high ceilings, crisp AC, and Netflix. Stock up on fresh, local beer, produce and moonshine and make some memories :)
