Then take a ride into downtown Brevard to hit the local eats and shops. Pisgah Forest is centrally located to Dupont State Forest and Pisgah National Forest, Downtown Brevard and a variety of breweries.

From the Hart Farm: Pisgah Room (Room #1 of 2)

My farm is 8 miles from Brevard and a 45 min. drive to downtown Asheville. I am nestled between Pisgah National Forest and Dupont State Forest, which means unlimited hiking, waterfalls, swimming, kayaking and fishing. Cyclers will enjoy being on one of the many routes, while mountain bikers can enjoy forest trails and challenge themselves to the Oskar Blues Reeb Ranch. Equestrian folks can avail themselves to our local horse boarders and ride in both forests. There is something for everyone!

Allewelt Creekside Cabin 5 acres of Forest & creek

We offer 5 beautiful, private and quiet acres of forest in Cedar Mountain. The cabin is just 1.5 miles from the entrance of Dupont Forest. Bike or hike the trails and come back to put your feet in the creek at one of the most relaxing places you'll find. Lots of space for your dog or kids run and explore. BIG yard with a creek, bonfire pit and rope swigs overlooked by the large porch of the cabin above is perfect after a day on the trail. The 1/4 mile of creek has a trail to explore as well.

Unplug and dive into the outdoors! Chase waterfalls, hike scenic forest trails, mountain bike world-class trails, or cast a line in nearby streams. After a day of adventure, relax with a glass of wine on the tin-roofed porch or roast s’mores by the fire pit under the stars. Let your furbaby hike, sniff, and explore the wild right alongside you. Explore Cedar Mountain or nearby Brevard, Hendersonville, and Asheville for great food, art, fun shops, breweries, and great live music.

Cottage at Gear Down

Southern Comfort at it's finest. Country living with easy access to all the art, music, and food that Brevard has to offer. Perfect for mountain bikers and hikers! Just twenty minutes to downtown and 10 minutes to Dupont State Forest. We took the 1950 cabin, home to the legendary bootlegger Clyde McCall, lifted it up and put a new footer, foundation, and sun room addition. Next, we set it back down and totally refurbished from the studs out. Everything is new inside and out.

Mountain View

Our home in Pisgah Forest is in the land of waterfalls. The apartment has a full kitchen, large shower and a fire pit on the deck for your enjoyment This area is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, music lovers, hikers and cyclists. If you are planning to visit our state and national parks, please check to see which trails are open. Downtown Brevard is a quaint mountain town with unique shops, a variety of restaurants and art galleries and is just 15 from the apartment.

Treetop Cabin

The cabin is centrally located among world class hiking, biking, and breweries. There are virtually no mosquitoes, and our microclimate makes this area significantly cooler than Asheville. There’s a ton of cool stuff to check out, and a clean, contemporary space to come home to. The cabin was a former artists’ retreat, it has an open floor plan, high ceilings, crisp AC, and Netflix. Stock up on fresh, local beer, produce and moonshine and make some memories :)

Cedar Springs

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space located minutes away from DuPont Forest and the Mountain Bridge Wilderness. Enjoy listening to the birds and eating your meals on the all-seasons porch. Walk down to the Little River. Drive five minutes to the charming crossroads of Cedar Mountain and less than 9 miles to downtown Brevard or to "Pretty Place." Prepare fresh produce bought at the Whistlestop in the abundantly supplied kitchen.

Mountain Haven Retreat 7 minutes from Brevard

Our beautiful cabin is nestled near the mountains of Pisgah Forest. Enjoy coffee on our porches, listening to the rain on the tin roof, or making dinner in fully equipped, large kitchen! New fire pit! 10 minute drive to Pisgah National Forest, 15 minute drive to DuPont National Forest, & 7 minutes from the quaint little town of Brevard. Pets are welcome with a $50 pet fee.
