It’s an excellent location, very nice apartment and caring, professional service. You pay a lot for the location and scarcity of such properties. The quality of the apartment is an excellent, modern 3-star level with kitchen. You pay a 4-5 star price. It’s a good enough deal for many obviously. Something to think about (not fully under control of the hotel), but rather of the community of business owners in Venao, which El Sitio is one of the proud founders (they’ve done a great job so far!), is the insane amount of road dust because of wide, unpaved roads. Don’t blame construction, it largely moved to other areas of Venao, many areas/streets are completed construction-wise. Put gravel, plant more grass, plants, pave eventually. It’s been 17 years of dust. And in the same Venao there are many paved internal streets. Makes a difference. Countless surf-towns in Costa Rica have managed to maintain rustic nature-first feel, without dust and with selective paving & planting.

My husband and I took our first family vacation with our 2.5 year old son, and Pedro's home was the perfect family-friendly location. First, the home itself felt even nicer than shown in the pictures. The home was spotless, spacious, and included everything we needed for our stay. Our toddler was delighted by all of the beach and pool toys on the property, and the pool has a large shallow ledge that made swimming much more accessible to him. The pool was cleaned every morning by the groundskeeper who was very friendly. The property is fully gated, and we felt safe and comfortable knowing that Pedro and his wife lived on the third floor, and the groundskeeper also lived on the property. That said, our stay still felt private. The location and views simply cannot be beat. Each evening, the sun sets directly in front of the property over the ocean. Playa Hermosa as a whole was quiet, calm, and welcoming, and I'd argue that Pedro's home is the best property there.

We are repeated custumers, we love this place, on the beach, clean, it has all you need, it is a home away from home. I love cooking, this place has a kitchen with all you need to put a meal together. There is a big supermarked near by, it is located at about an hour from El Valle, if you are a hiker, then you can enjoy beautiful hike in el Valle and still stay at burmas and enjoy both the beach and the mountains for an amazing hike.

El Royal Palm sigue siendo mi lugar de descanso favorito, se pasa muy bien en familia. El apartamento de Charlie tiene una vista espectacular a las montañas y playa, muy bien amoblado y decorado. Los chicos que te atienden a la llegada son muy amables y te hacen sentir como en casa. Charlie es una excelente anfitriona, siempre estuvo pendiente de que todo estuviera bien con nuestra estadía.

We really liked our stay here! We were picked up from our water taxi and showed around on our way to the Airbnb. Javier was so nice and had great recommendations. The Airbnb was located just a block from the water and had tons of great restaurants and bars close by. The place was comfortable, we would stay here again!

El alojamiento fiel a la descripción, muy limpio y la vista es hermosa. La pasamos muy bien, descanso y disfrutamos del apartamento. El mar estuvo fuerte, pero es normal para esa zona. Nos gustaría volver.

This place was a little piece of heaven. The location, the amenities, the attention to detail, the TACOS - impeccable. Best side of Jaco Beach and Gracias Madre is right on it, just walk out the gate and there you are. Yet because the apartments are recessed a bit, the rooms felt private and secluded. The little pool is lovely, as are the design-forward references to dia de los muertos that permeate the decor. The apartment is one I'd live in (and I really wish I could have stayed longer), had absolutely everything you'd need and want, including complementary little items like chocolate covered dried banana in the cupboard, sunscreen and beach mats by the door, usb chargers and Bluetooth speakers on the bedside tables. The appliances are all top notch as are the cookware and glassware. The A/C from the mini split was reliably refreshing and the bed was perfect. But maybe the best part was the TACOS served at the attached restaurant - ate three different kinds and loved them all.

This was a great place for us for our first time We liked the proximity to everything We had good internet and power Adele always respond promptly to any questions This is a fun, safe place to be and explore to different places. And the people are friendly

The perfect place to stay on the island in my opinion. Toua re right next to the best beach; water was perfect and the wind is the weakest on this part of the island which meant crystal clear snorkeling and calm waves. There is an amazing scuba company literally two blocks up (Anda da Wata) as well as a little market. Mary helped us get a scooter sorted and Uboldina helped us with laundry. Ellie is a responsive and helpful host. It was perfect for our honeymoon and we have already talked about coming back! Cannot recommend Ellie’s place enough!

Truly a dream beach house. Equipped with everything you need. towels, kitchen utensils, pots, pans, outdoor space for grilling and nearby market 10 minute drive. The property is very large. You have the a guardsman and wife nearby in the property , to help with trash , appliance issues and even car troubles in you’re having it. The little family who takes care of you while being at the beach home really does make it the cherry on top. It doesn’t feel like an invasion , you don’t feel limited in anything. It is very comforting to have locals nearby who know the home and take care of the property. The host herself was also very responsive as well. The communicated was impeccable. The property beautiful. So thankful to get to experience homes like this , i will definitely be back.

volvería a hospedarme en este lugar. Muy buena opción, quizás considerar a manera de sugerencia poner antideslizantes en las gradas de la piscina porque muy lizo. Por lo demás todo excelente.

Great accommodation! We really enjoyed our stay at the Coconut House. The house was comfortable and the view was amazing!

Rum Point is the perfect chill vacation spot for the whole family with a beautiful well laid out house with tons of room, a great pool and access to the beach. Martin and the team at Rum Point and Turtle Inn are really great, knowledgeable and the perfect hosts. But the real hosts of this place are the dogs that live at Rum Point and make it feel like home. We all fell in love with the dogs. The activities we booked through Turtle Inn included incredible hikes, zip lines, rafting, horseback riding, Mayan ruins, great fishing and a wild cave / water adventure. We loved this beautiful, clean and relaxing place.

Bobby’s place was an excellent location if you want quick access to a beautiful beach! It was clean and we loved the little pool and hammock outside. We loved watching the monkeys! It was a great place!

Home is absolutely beautiful. Surfing was awesome and so convenient. Great options for restaurants with great food. Over the top customer service! I would highly recommend and will definitely be back! Some tips: Bring cash to avoid credit card fees. Rent a car if you are planning to do sightseeing outside property otherwise renting a golf cart works great. Watch for fisherman on beach selling lobster, etc to cook up for dinner in the beautiful kitchen. Fly into Nicaragua vs Liberia, (if relevant), you’ll save a lot of time and headache crossing the border. Schedule fishing expedition through your host, they have great connections and we came home with lots of fresh fish for dinner. Buy groceries on the way, onsite grocery store is limited and more expensive. Take advantage of market on certain days of the week for fresh fruit and vegetables. Make sure you get everything you need, this property doesn’t stock the basics (eg salt, pepper,etc)

Loved our time at this beautiful spot! The view onto the beach and watching sunsets from the deck was stunning. Very comfortable accommodation, spacious and clean. Some good restaurants within walking distance. Great all around.

El apartamento es fiel a las fotos. Espacios amplios y bien decorados. Lo mejor es poder disfrutar de tu propia piscina. Las respuestas de Raúl el propietario y de Jorge el administrador son inmediatas. Todo funcionó a la perfección. Aíres acondicionados, estufa , refrigerador etc Sin duda quiero regresar.

Great location, our only wish is that the property would have an elevator. Everything about this condo was exactly as listed, great private beach to anyone that finds this place.

The place was worth the stay and it was so peaceful love the pool even though I didn’t get the chance to hop in but I felt at home will definitely stay there again and his helper was very helpful

Primero que todo felicitar a Mary por la excelente atención y trato respetuoso que nos brindó en todo momento, el lugar es realmente hermoso y cerca de restaurantes y supermercados. El acceso a la playa es de 5 minutos caminado, solo cruzar una calle y estás disfrutando de los mejores atardeceres. El lugar es impecable y está provisto con todo lo necesario para una estadía placentera. Sin duda volveríamos a visitarlo!!

Great stay at Andres’s place in Reserva Conchal! The condo has beautiful views, and was well stocked and clean. The pool for the condo complex was perfect for our toddler, and we loved having access to the Beach Club. We would definitely stay here again!
